Man I had such an upsetting experience here. I went in for a simple lash lift, and a few days prior to my appointment they sent me a consent form + medical questionnaire, which I didn’t feel comfortable filling out so I skipped the medical portion. When I arrived to my appointment I was urged to fill out the medical portion again, so I filled it out there on the spot. I was then subjected to being grilled by my lash tech about why I was taking the medications I take. The lash tech had all sorts of misconceptions about my medication, and I really don’t know why it was any of her business that I’m on SSRI’s, nor why she felt it was appropriate to dig further into my reasoning for needing that medication. She should have just provided a list of contraindicated medications if she’s so worried. I left the appointment feeling hugely violated, and my lash lift looked like garbage. It was really horrible actually, literally only one side curled I had to have another lash tech at another salon fix it the next week. I can’t thank Tamara enough for coming in on her day off just to do my rescue lashes after hearing I was about to get on a 15-hour flight home for a wedding.
