Squirrel Chops — Restaurant in Seattle

A woman with curly blond hair working here interrupted my meeting by screaming at me across the room to keep it down (I'd said all of two sentences the whole meeting). After my meeting was done, I told her that I have hearing problems and asked her to just come ask me to be quiet instead of interrupting me mid-sentence across the room. She responded by calling me a jackass, got in my face and started yelling slurs about my genitals. Told me she works here, so she has to be here, but I could leave whenever I want, then she went back to browsing facebook at her table. Extremely aggressive behavior, unprofessional. All she had to do was ask me. Too bad because everyone else working here was amazing, coffee and music were great.

EDIT: The owner contacted me and apologized for this person. This person's behavior isn't reflective of the quality of the rest of the business. SC is really an excellent coffee shop-- I've been to it a few times now. I've changed my rating, but I'll leave the original...

My boss introduced me to this neighborhood coffee shop on Monday, 4/17/23, and what a gem of a place! The staff is very nice, smiled and eye contact (a rarity these days). Can't remember the type of beans they use (Thin Man, I think), so smooth and no burnt aftertaste. It was very nice. They offer made to order sandwiches and served at the table. You didn't have to get up and get it yourself. Btw, I just had coffee, but the menu items seemed popular. I assume they were yummy based on how busy the kitchen was. It is so nice to sit down and enjoy your coffee. Just sit, relax, and relax some more. It was a perfect place to have afternoon coffee after a stressful day. I order an iced coffee extra sweet, They then gave me a hot coffee which i didn’t even have one sip of and so i told them that i asked for iced not hot (i don’t even like hot coffee.) They then proceeded to try and make me pay for their mistake and argued with me trying to say i didn’t say iced ( again i don’t even like hot and always ask for ice). After arguing with me for nearly 10 minutes they finally gave me my iced coffee which ended up being unsweet and undrinkable either way.
