From the first phone call with Gina to my latest visit with Briar, Eye Eye has been an eyeopening and amazing experience. Gina is a very thorough, knowledgeable professional who got me scheduled, reviewed my insurance plan/pricing, set correct expectations, and used electrical tape as makeshift repair so that my broken frames are temporarily wearable. The optometrist assistant had a great sense of humor and was very courteous. Dr. Abiva made my visit well worth it. With professional sense of humor she explained everything about my eye changes and needs. Michael, the optician was helpful as he took the time to explain frames, lenses, prices, wrote out my measurements, and recommended local repair shops since I was interested in reusing my broken frames. When I returned with an online-purchased frame Briar's amazing personality, patience, caring, and thoughtfulness made the experience dignified and lighthearted. He also wrote me measurements numbers for reading lenses, and the Medicaid discount that Michael quoted me was what I received. P.S. The owner, an optometrist, was also at the front desk and I thought he was an assistant. He was behind a desk talking with clients, answering their questions, and addressing their specific needs! I am looking forward to receiving and getting fitted with my new prescription lenses and frames asap. Eye Eye matched with employees who were more my personality! Overall, I received such 5 STAR treatment one would not have thought that I was a Medicaid insured...
Read moreFrom the second i walked in they were super welcoming. They walked straight up to the door walked us in told us to sit down and didn't make it a problem that i brought my mom and sister along. My sister has special needs and they were even making conversation with her. They gave us a room where we would all be comfortable and explained everything to me as well as did a very thorough eye exam which i had never had before. They were super sweet, patient, kept us well informed and were quick and efficient with the time. They told me what my insurance would and wouldn’t cover and were always checking up on me and helping me with choosing my glasses. They also informed me that the eyeglasses take a while to come in but that they would let me know as soon as they came in. Compared to what I’ve paid for previous contacts the ones provided were super affordable as well as they told me if the ones they gave me didn't work out there would be no charge to come back and try new ones. Everyone is sweet there and i am so happy my doctor referred me to this place!
I really liked how as soon as my doctor put in the referral they messaged me and got me in the next day. Unlike other places where i have to call and call and struggle to...
Read moreI love this place. I only got two pairs here, one regular pair and a matching pair of sunglasses I picked after my first/so far only eye exam in 2023, but their options for frames are really extensive even for patients on Medicaid-- I didn't realize how spoiled I was! They are nice and chill, no rush, listen when fitting frames, and respond quickly to texts or other messages. They are also good at helping you pick frames that suit you for different purposes. I had to move across the state, so I can't go to Eye Eye anymore, and to say I already miss it would be an understatement. The offices where I live now are a far cry from Eye Eye's customer service and options. Where Eye Eye used my insurance allowance to get me two pairs of glasses, the new place I'm at across the state didn't even know that was possible. Jeez! If I could I would fly out just to keep using Eye Eye 😂 but I definitely don't have that kind of money lol If you're in Seattle and looking for an inclusive and queer-friendly optometrist/optical shop with a really wide selection even for those of us on state insurance, I highly...
