After being a customer of this restaurant for a year, I won't go back and I don't recommend it either. The food has always seemed good to me but the poor service of the two women who run the place is terrible. Context: Today I went to lunch with my family, who was visiting me in the city, along with the dog (my sister's service dog). The first thing was to tell us that the dog could not be inside the rest, despite explaining that it was a dog. service dog (with his identification vest and government ID)

After explaining to him, he misunderstood and proceeded to let us sit down. When we are ordering the food and the woman had a bad attitude towards us, when I finish paying for the order, she tells me that I have to leave her tips, I am surprised because I am still waiting for the food, and she insists again that I leave tips for the chefs.

I told him that I couldn't leave tips without first trying the food and even less without seeing the level of service with which they serve me. (First time they ask me to give them tips without eating first 😂) I told him that after eating I would leave them tips in CASH. in a bad way he left us in peace again and we were finally able to eat.

the table was always kept dirty from those who ate before, so we had to move from table, then when serving the food, they did not bring us the basic things that the table should have like soy sauce, salt for fried rice, at this point I was even afraid to ask him for those things 😂.

When I finished eating, I went to the kitchen and explained what happened to the cooks and they mentioned that "This always happens with the two women who run the place" they apologized and I told them that I would leave them the tip in cash at the...

For the food I’ll give 3 stars I used to like to eat Padthai and Pas knee mao here but lately most dishes are sweet and noodle dishes are greasy and oily but the reason I leave 1 start for this place is unacceptable discrimination experience. I’m Asian and has been Manao customer since 2016 I’ve never experienced discrimination but just has to deal with grumpy server when they are busy which it’s not nice but I put up with it. Until last time I went in there with my Black friend and the experienced were different. We placed an order and comeback in 15 mins later my friend who is Black walk to the cashier to asked if our food are ready the server didn’t even check if it’s ready but instead ignore us and not talk to us. Then we sat for 5 mins and went to the cashier ask for our order again the cashier yelled at us that will make it as fast as we can at that point I felt very upset. I look over the counter and saw that our order are sitting there and ready I can see our number order clearly. I decided to talk to another server and told her that I saw our order was ready and pointed to the bag that was sitting there. She asked what your name I told her my name, then she kept looked at us like we are stealing food and ask if we know what we ordered. I told her my name what we order and she kept checking and all info was right she grabbed the bag about to handed to us and then keep looking at us in a weird way I had shown her the receipt and everything but they having a hard time handling the food to us!

I will definitely never go back there again and I hope that they recognized what they did was not ok at all! Very disappointed...

So, this has become My Absolute Favorite Thai Place!! I have been eating here since it opened, and the food is Consistently Outstanding! I Love 💗 Love the ability to spice your own food! I eat here at least once a week, and have NEVER had a subpar meal! Sometimes it's a bit of a wait ( the line was out the door upon arrival ) and the restaurant is small so there is limited seating, but they are so friendly and professional! Even when it's crazy busy, the staff is friendly and courteous! I have also had to go for takeout instead of eating there due to the volume of customers. But the food is absolutely consistent. I live in Tacoma (45 mins south of Capitol Hill) and have driven into Seattle just to satisfy my craving for Manao ( Absolutely WORTH the drive!!!!💗💫💗)!!!! I have eaten pretty much EVERYTHING on the menu at one time or another, but I am completely hooked on the Basil Fried Rice w/ chicken. Aaand a side of Peanut Sauce. NOBODY makes Basil Fried Rice like Manao, NOBODY....... I CANNOT say Enough Great Things About This Place, and I CANNOT recommend this place ENOUGH! If you haven't eaten here already, GO NOW!!!!!...

I bought food from here. I'm a very well customer. Their service is very rude. They always seem like they have an attitude. They are not BLM. I paid $17 almost $20 for my pad Thai for me to get only one piece of chicken. Literally I would not pick this place if it comes to family or date or you're just alone food is definitely not worth it , there is way better places than here. A good suggestion would be cherry Thai on Cherry on street , rework hard for our money to spend it with ungrateful people , I will be posting this on every social media and app , I also got the video on TikTok ! Please get this place outta Captiol hill and out of business they don’t deserve are community and LGBTQ Family and BLM , they are so rude . I’ll be letting friends & family know , Update: I got home and ate more , THERE WAS FREAKING HAIR IN MY FOOD !

Manao Thai Street Eats truly impressed me with its hip and vibrant atmosphere. The variety of menu choices was excellent, catering to different tastes and preferences. The quick and friendly service added to the overall positive experience. While the portion sizes were average, the taste of the dishes was undeniably excellent. Each bite was a burst of authentic Thai flavors that left me craving more. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, as Manao Thai Street Eats has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorite places to dine. If you're seeking a delightful culinary adventure in a trendy setting, this is a must-try spot that won't disappoint.
