Unpleasant experience. Left pretty annoyed. Came in on a Sunday at 4pm, the man at the register said that they were backed up in the kitchen so food was going to take longer than 30 minutes, "it's just one of those days". The restaurant didn't have many people but I'm assuming they were busy from online orders? I don't know. The man behind the register suggested ordering something small so it would come out quicker. My girlfriend asked a question, "something like fries?" And the man said yes. So we take our seats. The server randomly brings us a tray of fries. We didn't order this but I can understand how the question might have been mistaken for an order, I'm not upset. 40 minutes go by! And not a single person come to take our order. I think the server behind the bar finally realized that we haven't ordered because we've just been sitting there sharing a tray of fries and drinking water... For 40 minutes. He comes up to the table and apologizes and says again that "it's been one of those days". Note, the restaurant wasn't even half full. At that point, I just wanted to leave. So we go up to the bar to pay for the fries (that we didn't even want) just so we can get out. Checking out at the bar was another annoying moment. Got treated as if I went to a dive bar and was paying for drinks. Man at the register couldn't comprehend that we didn't have a check to pay for because no one came to serve us. Had to tell him multiple times that, no we didn't order anything, no our card wasn't kept open at the bar, we just wanted to pay for the lousy fries we didn't order and just leave. I'm guessing this guy was also having "just one of those days" too. Not coming...

UPDATE:

While my initial experience was not great, I received a very genuine, heartfelt response from the team. I have since updated my star rating. I completely understand the struggles that businesses have been under since the pandemic. We LOVE supporting local, especially local vegan. Some of our favorite places have closed as a result of the state of the world and the economy, and we hope this place does not meet that same fate. Keaton, thank you for taking the time to reply and address our concerns. We will try to make it back to give y'all a second chance, or for sure. Wishing you all the best! I wish I could write a better review as I have been wanting to try Cycle Dog for 3 years now. However, my visit today was disappointing. We were to order using out phones with no interaction with staff, but expected to tip. We ordered and literally waited an hour for food. It took 15 minutes to be brought water, which was warm and from the tap. Finally a member of the waitstaff brought the food, plopping it on the table without smiling or saying a word. I said thanks and asked for some ketchup. He ignored me and walked off. After waiting an hour for food, they still missed the sausage on both mine and my husband's meals. We waited another 15 minutes and attempted to flag down 2 waiters before my husband got up and asked the bartender for the missing food. She brought us out 1 serving, instead of the 2 we were ordered. Having ordered all you can eat pancakes, my husband ordered a refill. However, after another 20 minutes of waiting and zero attention from the waitstaff, we left dissatisfied and...

Was excited to try Cycle Dogs for the first time so went today. I ordered the Deluxe Burger and a Seattle Dog. While the food was equivalent in taste to a compatible product at Wayward or Nextlevel Burger, I was unhappy with four things: portion size for the Deluxe Burger was tiny, the price was very high for the portion delivered, the wait was 15 to 20 minutes, and they charge extra for basic hotdog condiments like sour kraut, relish and jalapeños. For a very small burger and a hot dog I paid about $24. This included no sides as those are extra. I didn’t see the value for what I ordered. And what’s up with charging extra for hot dog condiments? That is a negative customer service experience that leaves someone feeling nickel dimed. Anyone who has got a Seattle Dog after the bars knows one is allowed to pile on any condiments and as much as they want with out being charged extra - that is what the Seattle dog experience is all about! Nice to see more vegan places but I am not sure that I will be returning.

Adding/edit: This restaraunt went above/beyond in providing me a refund .. which I didn't expect. I feel a little bad as I failed to realize the challanges a restaraunt might face in covering costs. I will be back to Cycle Dogs as their food was really good and now I understand why extra ramicans that sides come in are necessary. ...

Everyone was so nice there. The place was pretty open when we first arrived close to noon, but by the time we were done with our meal, the pack was packed. Plan and arrive early! This place is really good! The food was great! The Rise $ Shine Breakfast Burrito was beyond filling. The pancakes were super soft and fluffy. The weekend brunch special Krabby Daddy Benedict was flavourful. I want to go back and try other items on the menu, plus you never know what special they'll have, so be sure to check their instagram.

Update- Still Awesome! Cycle Dogs is the best! Dank vegan hot dogs, delicious flavor combinations, gluten free options, super cool people, dog-friendly venue, quick service, & all sound good vibes. Love the breakfast dog & the elote dog. Def one of the best quick service food spots in Seattle.

Pictured is the trashy ciabatta off of the brunch menu. Absolutely fantastic. Scramble, sausage, cheese, and hashbrown. Holy mother! It is insanely delicious. This place is not messing around and you can tell that the ingredients used are only the best. This place is a definite must have.
