Retrofit Home, a unique store located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Retrofit Home is more than just a furniture store; it’s a mini-department store with a sophisticated, fun, and edgy aesthetic. If you’re in the Capitol Hill area, be sure to check it out! In addition to furniture, you’ll find home goods, kitchen essentials, and unique gift items. The every day books were my favorite collection to browse through. Quirky and funky, Retrofit Home sells lots of items you won’t find anywhere else. While their products aren’t cheap, the quality and uniqueness make up for it. Even their sale items can be fairly expensive, but they’re worth it if you want something special. I told the employee I loved their store and the vibe was so inviting and if I had more time I’d probably buy a lot more! So, if you’re on the hunt for distinctive furniture, home decor, or delightful gifts, consider paying Retrofit Home a visit. It’s a gem in Capitol Hill!

Oh. My. Gosh. You must go in this store. Have a look 'round. Buy the cutest thing you see. I saw a water pitcher with a snake wrapped around it and I thought about it for two days. I walked an hour back just to buy it. Everything is beautiful here and the staff is perfect. You can buy so many cute things and put them all in your home. Which is what you deserve.

I love this place. It’s has a small town feel with friendly owners and staff who are super ready to answer questions. I needed a couch right away-and for not being a huge store I found a great selection. Places like this need to be supported or else we will end up with nothing but Amazon. Shop local! I’m a happy new owner of a gorgeous blue sofa.

This is a neat little store in a good location. The buyers have a good eye and the selection is always great. Proprietors are friendly and helpful every time I visit.

If you're looking for little tchotchkes or accessories for the home I recommend you stop on by and give this local business some support. They stock some really unique items and clearly put a lot of work into making their store inviting and pleasant.

Their furniture selection is thoughtfully varied but the build quality of the pieces I looked at were middle of the road, some approaching cheap. Also furniture prices were unexplainably high for the quality. (hence the 4 stars instead of 5).

Still though Retrofit is a gem and they deserve your business....

Little trinkets here are okay. There's a marked upcbarge for a lot of mass produced, cheaply made items & one of the employees saw fit to follow a friend & I around the store as if we were going to pocket any of the merchandise strewn about. Keep in mind, we didn't even carry our actual small purchases around & at one point were looking at the upstairs furniture of couches & stools- as if we could be stealing anything from those displays. I will note that the custom pieces were beautiful & the other employees were...
