DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! READ THE REVIEWS. Let's start at the beginning. I ordered my sleeper sofa with family coming. I limited myself to the quick shop choices to be sure it would arrive on time. I had a month and a half and they claim to ship in less than two weeks. So a month later I call to see what is the hold up. The first customer service rep say they are on it and it will arrive shortly. Fast forward two weeks. No call nothing so I call them back. Now I speak to a man saying the other sales person is gone but they will get my order completed. Now it's to late for my family visit so blow up mattresses will have to do. Once again no response no delivery. Two more weeks pass. And I call. This rep tells me my couch has been sitting in a wharehouse with a rip in on for the last 5 weeks 10 miles from my house. I tell the rep I no longer want there couch and he replies that I will be charged almost the full amount of the purchase because I am liable for the shipping both way and a restocking fee. I ask if there will be any compensation for the delay and as if he is doing me a favor he refunds the expedited shipping. Then They ask if I want it in it's current condition or would I like it repaired. So in the following two weeks Nothing finally we get ahold of the delivery company and the have had it repaired. All I really wanted was my $1800 couch to begin with. So I say please deliver. While delivering my couch the bed pops out gauging my new hard wood floors. There response. "That was supposed to be tied down". Now my couch is broken all customer service will do to help is send me the two legs that are broken for me to install. And tells me to deal with the shipping company about the gauges. I did not pay the shipping company nor do I know there arrangement with sleepers. So I am still working on that. We have had the couch now for a few months we purchased the best bed cushion they offered. I can say even if they had delivered on time or had a remotely good customer service this bed is as uncomfortable as can be. Long story short I can't tell you which is worse there product or there customer service. BUYER BEWARE. I wish I would have done more research on this company they have a...
Read moreOn April 4th I ordered a sofa bed from Sleepers in Seattle and paid for “white glove” delivery.
I noticed a few weeks later it still listed as payment processing, pending production and delivery so I checked I was told all was good and that they would email a tracking number and call when it is on the way.
Well I was quite surprise on May 7th when there was a buzz on my apartment gate with a delivery for me. I had no prior warning the sofa bed had shipped much less was at my front door.
The guys dropped it off inside my apartment where they had to push it between my existing bed and a shelf because I had figured I would be called before it was here and be able to arrange to have my old bed hauled away before arrival.
After the delivery guys leave I notice the right arm is extremely loose wobbling and makes a creaking crack sound from being broken inside and fabric on the back had come away exposing the tacking, and the right front foot marred.
I email right away sending pics and video.
Long story short Beatrice in CS will go days without responding to my emails, they refuse to replace it and insist Intake multiple days off costing me more than the sofa bed so they can send repair filks out, of which the first one left it looking pretty bad because that all that could be done, you can clearly see that the upholstery now bulges and one side of the bed is an inch higher.
It is now well over a month later and my emails go unanswered 5 days at a time, they want to send more repair people instead of replacing the defective merchandise.
In this time they could have has a new unbroken (like I paid for) sofa bed here in its place. Instead they ignore me and get fussy when they do respond. Completely unhelpful.
So if you want to spend $1600 on broken furniture then take multiple days off so they can “try and fix” it by making it look rotten this is the store for you... if NOT I would avoid this...
Read moreInitial purchase and delivery were great. Sofa was well-made with different options for arm types, which were removable for ease of maneuvering during delivery. Sofa back cushions were too overstuffed for my preference; they took up too much of the seating space. Bed was about as comfortable as you'd expect for a sleeper; guests found just sleeping on the sofa was far more comfortable. The majority of our use of it was in a guest room, so it had only about 3 years of daily use. When it came time to apply the warranty to something needing repair with our sofa, it was a long, drawn-our process. We started checking into it about 8 years into the warranty, then life circumstances delayed our efforts. When we started up again, it was a long, drawn-out process of several months, in which we needed to figure out which Sleepers staff person would help us, finding the right label on the underside, or inside, of the sofa and taking a picture of it (not an easy task), sending it in to the store, waiting for them to consult with manufacturer, only to be told it was past the 10-year warranty. However, at the time is starting the process, we had purchased it less than 10 years earlier and had the receipt to prove it; which didn't seem to matter to Sleepers in Seattle. We were told we could buy a repair kit and have a sofa repair person fix it, total cost would have come to about $400, not worth the effort/cost/time to us, especially after all the effort we took to use our warranty, to no avail. So, upshot is, the manufacturer warranty appeared to be worthless. Now we either have to toss a perfectly good bunch of cushions (and most of the frame) to the landfill, or see if someone out there wants a broken sofa bed. Moral of the story: read your warranty carefully before purchase, and don't count on it actually being worth something, despite what the...
