I’m very protective over my hair, and I hadn’t had it cut in a very long time, and I couldn’t have found a better salon or stylist than Jazz! I have medium thickness slightly wavy hair, for reference. She gave wonderful recommendations and advice for how to care for both the cut and my hair, as well as really listening to what I wanted and altering my cut to fit what I imagined exactly. This is the most heard I have ever felt at a salon. Consent is highly valued here.

The cut Jazz created was absolutely masterful as well, this long shag is incredibly easy to style and looks amazing every way I look at it. She helped problem solve with me when we ran into a cowlick I forgot I had, stopped and listened when I didn’t love how the curl pattern made me feel and experimented until I adored it.

I walked out feeling SO hot. My girlfriend said I even carry myself with more confidence. If you’re looking for a change, I couldn’t recommend Jazz more. On a person to person level, thats also just one earnest, kind, and intentional person. She is a joy to talk with while in the chair.

After decades of living with pencil straight hair that was easy for me to maintain, medical treatments caused the texture of my hair to change to extremely dry + wavy, a complete 180. I tried for a year to figure it out myself, but I needed help, + a stylist that understood not only wavy hair, but the emotions + stress that come from dealing with a medically-induced change.

Luci is that human. She’s supportive, honest, candid + open to discussion on what I want as well as how I will actually take care of my hair on a day to day basis. Her aura is calming, delightful + safe. There have definitely been moments where I’ve unexpectedly broken down + gotten nothing but support + even a time out in the middle of an appointment for me to reset + breathe.

I’m not one that’s used to (or wants to) spend hours everyday on my hair using a whole army of products + rituals. And Luci respects that, helping me fine a way to make these new lovely locks work for me.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting my hair transformation done by Jazz. It was the best salon experience I have ever had. She took the time to understand what type of haircut I was looking for, made sure to check in often to make sure I liked the length & how it was looking throughout the process, & she even took the time to teach me ways on how I can style and care for my hair when I asked! This was a spontaneous decision to get a haircut during my birthday weekend in Seattle (I’m from California). I didn’t have high expectations on getting a response for availability since it was a very last minute decision and I knew people would be booked for the weekend already, but luckily Jazz responded to my inquiry & squeezed me in! The staff were all very nice and so sweet, the space was beautiful and you automatically feel a sense of safety in the environment.
