This gym used to be good when Matt worked there. However it hasn’t been staffed for at LEAST two weeks & the “manager” they had working there didn’t do ANYTHING. I once asked him if the hours had changed because he was never there and he said I must have came in while he was on lunch...as I was standing in the gym messaging him. When I messaged the owner about the problem his exact words were “He’s not there? He’s supposed to be there.” The owner of this gym does not care about it and has taken 0 steps to fix any issues. Also, I’m not supposed to be managing your employees for you, I’m sorry but you should be aware that your employee left early everyday, however when you never check on your business it’s not very shocking that the employees take advantage of you. Some days they don’t even have the basics and I’m talking paper towels, cleaner or even TOILET PAPER. About two months ago I found small red bugs on the walls in the yoga room & on the mats that I’m sure they still haven’t addressed that issue because a week after I told them they were STILL there! The AC and fans never work so it’s basically a million degrees in the gym at all times. For awhile the door wouldn’t even close all the way & NON members would walk in while no staff was present & question me about where the staff was while I was working out! Do not waste your money at the Sellersburg Anytime Fitness, I would go to Charlestown or Jeffersonville. I’m sure the owners of those gyms actually care and won’t just keep telling you “things are going to get better.” This place is going...

My home anytime fitness gym is in Florida, but I use this one when I visit family in New Albany. As for equipment it will get the job done. Not the newest, but it works. It's in a good location with easy in and out. The environment inside is good. The reason for my two stars is the cleanliness or lack of. I've used this gym maybe ten times over the past year and it's been just marginally clean. I came up for Derby weekend and used the gym Friday and Saturday afternoon staying several hours both days. All I can say is the cleanliness has gotten worse. On Friday I took notice and it didn't take long to see every trash can in the gym was running over, the mirror in the free weight area was hazy and covered with smudges, there was trash in the corners, small holes punched in the drywall and baseboard molding pulled from the wall. Bathroom's were not very clean either with one of the faucets not working and the trash cans full. All this I noticed on Friday. Came back Saturday afternoon and nothing had been done. All trash cans still over flowing. I've never even seen an employee or manager!!! Does anyone work here? Like I said, the gym serves the purpose and there was plenty of cleaning towels and spray bottles with cleaning solution to clean the equipment after using it, but the overall cleanliness of the gym...

I recently attempted to transfer my home gym (Jeffersonville, which closed unexpectedly with no notice) to this gym. I came in, filled out the paperwork, was given a temporary fob and told my original fob would work in a week or two. Three weeks later it still wasn’t working, which I only discovered at 7am when staff wasn’t present and I had to turn around and go back home. I called in later and explained the situation. I was told they’d have to call to find out where my membership was at in the transfer process. I was told I’d get a call back in a day or two. I didn’t, so I called back in and was told I’d have to come in and sign up for a new membership. Tedious, but okay. I went there the next day, a Thursday, around 11am but no staff was present and the guest entrance was locked. I called and no one picked up. The hours on the door say staff will be there at 10am. I’ve used this gym because it’s closest to me but have decided to take my business elsewhere. Not having staff present to assist customers makes it difficult to retain customers. I wish this gym luck with the renovations, I know it has struggled in the past. I may eventually reconsider if and when the place is staffed consistently when it says...
