I've been patronizing Smokey's for years, and usually they are excellent. Just about everyone that works there is excellent. However, one employee has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen.
First I asked a question about a tobacco product and received an answer with an attitude. Then, during checkout, I thought I placed a twenty dollar bill on the counter and I went to grab my bag.
The employee forcefully snatched it out of my hand and demanded payment. I was so shocked by the reaction that I wasn't sure it actually happened.
The employee wears glasses, around 6'1, with a thinning hairline. I guarantee he has single-handedly cost that location $1000s and countless customers because of his attitude alone.

I recently picked up an item that I wished to return (unopened and still sealed). They wouldnât let me return or even exchange the item in question and were pretty curt about the whole thing. âWe donât accept returns.â I could understand if it was opened, but it was still sealed and perfectly re-sellable to another patron. Why even give out receipts? They attempted (and succeeded) to make me feel stupid about the whole thing, which I really didnât appreciate.
