A highly underrated spot in Selma, inside a building that you can just tell by looking at it is steeped in the history of this town. My father and I stopped in to get some refreshments on our way back from some of the thrift and antique stores downtown and we were both surprised by the variety of goods within. Huge candy selection and a unique and surprisingly extensive selection of rare sodas that you will not find in stores or anywhere else(and kept ice cold, too!) In addition, there is a massive shelf of homemade pickled goods, most of which I am told by the owner are made by his sisters out in the western part of the state. I picked up a jar of their Chow-Chow(a type of relish) and am looking forward to trying more of the homemade goods, specifically the moonshine pickles.
