Worst experience ever. Went to pick up my couch, loveseat, and otomen the first time, the otomen was not delievered to the store and no one called to inform me. Upon arrival I refused to pick up and set a later date due to all of the pieces not being there and nothing being done about it. Fast forward a few weeks, I go to pick up my furniture again and my “brand new” love seat is already ripped. The moving man showed no empathy and just pointed to it. While loading up the furniture my nine year old brother asked how he broke his wrist, young kids are always curious and I told him to stop it’s not his business. The moving man then replied with “no it’s okay they have to learn somehow” then promptly told my brother how he got into an altercation leaving a bar, how this is an appropriate topic at work or to tell a clearly young child, I don’t know. The man loaded the furniture into our box truck and we proceeded to leave. After the three minute drive to my house it appeared that the loveseat was torn more than was shown to us, it wasn’t visible because I had my furniture wrapped. It wasn’t a big deal it’s on the bottom, I understand accidents happen. But the otomen was wrapped pretty good, no cuts in the wrapping. Read moreSeneca SC location has an amazing sales rep. Derek. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and always got us quick answers if he didn’t know something. We were in the middle of a purchase with him when the locations Manager felt the need to micromanage his sale. The Manager then began to belittle our purchase and was extremely rude. He told us we were doing him a favor and that he refused to accommodate delivery even though we were paying for it. I was not doing him or Farmers a favored by spending thousands of dollars at his location. It is sad to see a location where your sales reps are much more professional and personable then it’s leadership. As much as we liked Derek the arrogance of that small man with the napoleon complex lost him the sale. We immediately walked out and will be taking our business elsewhere. No customer should be treated that way regardless of the size of their purchase. We were going to purchase one of the most expensive pieces of furniture in his location and he proceeded to tell us how meaningless and small our purchase was and that he was unwilling to accommodate because we were doing him a favor. Read moreDerek was extremely nice and helpful. However, the lady that finalizes the paperwork has an extremely nasty attitude. She had little snarky remarks and kept cutting me off when i would answer her questions. Then, I just asked for clarification to make sure I was getting 0 percent financing and she popped off and said she would just get the manager to "deal with me". I had already been in there for HOURS because they are understaffed.I have plenty of patience, but not for disrespect. Taking my business elsewhere and will never set foot back in there.
Update: I added a star. I went back to finish the purchase because Derek is literally that nice and helpful. It's not fair to him for him to work hard just for someone else to ruin it for him.
Update 2: If i had known they were not going to put the bed together like they told me they were, I could have ordered the samething...
