Food Lion — Local services in Seneca

We normally do our shopping in Pendleton, which was previously a Bi-Lo store, and a very poorly maintained store at that, which FoodLion took over when they took over certain Bi-Lo stores. Even though the Pendleton FoodLion is old and in need of many improvements, they have done a great job of making it so much better than it was. That being said, this review is for the FoodLion in Seneca SC. Having showed it today, I have to say it was one of my best grocery shopping experiences in as long time. Not only is it a beautifully maintained store, they have outstanding employees. One in particular is a guy in the dairy dept (I forgot his name, but will update this review when I get it) who went above and beyond to assist me. The ladies who oversaw the self checkouts were very helpful as well. Even the Coke workers were helpful. All in All, this was a great shopping trip, as well as an awesome store!!! Way to go...

I come here because I kind of liked BILOs before. When Foodlion bought it, it deteriorated. Your staffs are LAZY especially the ones in the deli and wing bar. ..... One time I asked to buy 6 rotisserie chicken and was declined and was informed have to order in advance(thats why I am asking to reserve and cook in advance)..ended up going to Ingles and was served politely. ...... Another instance there was no available container in the wingbar to use so I asked for one, the staff walked away and told me she have to go for her break..there were 2 customers waiting for service and she ignored us, worst is.. 6-7 staffs just chatting around near the checkout counter bundy clock area and they never bother to help out. You need to train your staffs more on...

Not sure what is happening here but it's getting really tough to continue to shop here even though we love Food Lion. Employees will ignore you standing in the deli section and if you ask for help they just say there is not anyone to help. I can't even understand this. I understand it's hard to find good help now days but if you want to remain in business someone needs to figure it out. Update. Thank you Food Lion for listening to your customers.
