Forage Gifts and Northwest Treasures — Local services in Sequim

I am certain I would have loved this adorable looking gift shop, if they had been open 😢. I specifically sought out this place because it looked like it had some really cool stuff inside. We waited in front in our car more than 20 minutes for them to open and still no sign of anyone coming. Several people came by and also tried the door, but it was still locked. I couldn't wait any longer, due to restless little ones who were disappointed not to get a special souvenir of our wonderful time in Sequim. Although it looked liked this was the general theme of several other shop owners, who did not open their doors until 10-15 min after they were supposed to be open. Not sure for the reason, but we were really sad. I would consider changing the hours to 10:30 or 11 if punctuality if not your forte. Came all the way up to Sequim just to go to this shop. Was absolutely lovely. Loved all the local artisans. I love supporting local. If you want things Washington related and or made in Sequim items. This would be a great store to stop at. The only real complaint was the gal working there. Not sure if she was the owner or just an employee. She was a bit overbearing and trying to over sale everything that we slightly showed an interest in. So that kind of dampened the vibe for me a bit. I get, you're excited about your shop, but there is a limit to trying to push items. And it really felt as if it were the more spendy items... loved all the things. Would've bought more than I did... I just had a sense of pressure and I didn't care for that so much, but I wanted to buy something since my husband brought me all...

A great store with lots of different cute PNW/Olympic Peninsula items!
