Rainshadow Coffee in Sequim is a true gem. I've had the pleasure of holding two business meetings here, and each time I've been impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. This time, I brought my youngest son, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They thoughtfully prepared his hot chocolate at a kid-friendly temperature, which was much appreciated. My meeting attendees raved about the quality of the coffee, and with their diverse selection, there truly is a flavor for everyone. The cafe's interior is beautifully decorated with local art, creating a pleasant and stimulating environment. What truly sets Rainshadow Coffee apart, however, is their commitment to the community. As a Cub Scout den leader, I've seen firsthand their generosity. They recently donated coffee for our fundraising efforts, allowing our kids to raise essential funds. That kind of community support is invaluable and makes every cup of coffee even more meaningful. Beyond the excellent coffee and welcoming atmosphere, Rainshadow Coffee exemplifies the spirit of Sequim. It's a place where you can enjoy a delicious beverage while supporting a business that cares about its community. For that alone, it's worth a visit. Everything else is a wonderful bonus. I highly recommend Rainshadow Coffee to anyone looking for a quality coffee experience...
Read moreThe coffee is good, also the chai latte, but higher priced than elsewhere. It can be purchased by the bag as beans or ground. The bagged coffee is the same price in stores like Country aire in Port Angeles. The food is overpriced and not always tasty. Seems to try for mostly organic gluten free. I am not a big eater, but they serve small portions except for desserts. The soup is a very small bowl and not always a popular flavor. The day's special can be sold out, so get in early. Long wait for orders. Standing in line is the only way to order, and customers going to the restrooms have to push past the line. Staff is rushed. Crowded seating. Lots of tables taken up by wifi users. I was in there for lunch one day when a customer let her 2 toddlers run loose with food dangling from their mouths, but staff ignored it. When an order is ready and set up on their counter, they don't call it out, and sometimes it was taken by mistake by another customer. Not a good ambience and noisy from poor acoustics, very short hours. I stopped visiting and now go to other coffee houses in the area for more peaceful dining. Indoor restrooms. They have added more outdoor tables, mainly used by smokers and pet owners. When there is entertainment, it's mobbed and over crowded inside and waitress service...
Read moreSo Expensive vs. other comparable local food/bakery choices!! Picky coffee snobs love it here because they have really delicious drinks.
They don't list their prices for food/bakery items, its extremely over priced and not consistent in quality. I don't even spend as much at Oaktable and get four times as much, plus there: they bring it to you, they clean the tables after each customer (seriously how hard is wiping off your tables and chairs!), and you don't have to bus your own table....
Customer service is average or indifferent most of the time, not too much enthusiasm coming from those girls. Though, the owner seems to like hiring very pretty girls to work here, whom make very good drinks.
Reply to owner: If you are fairly priced then it would make sense that your prices be listed on your food board and with your...
