Right off the bat, HIGHLY Impressed with this place as a whole. Super Clean, friendly staff. Was able to walk right in and get a Cut and a Beard Trim. Even had a good laugh at the "Overflow Barber" on their web-site. Just means they have someone there to help cut if they don't have a profile set up. Which leads me to my next bit.

Today I received my cut by Aidan! Young dude, first day at Shop. Let me just say, the guy hit it out of the park. I had let my hair grow out, so I went in full beard, long hair, a raggedy mess and told him I was his canvas. I gave him what I did not like in a hair cut and let me tell you I walked out the happiest I have been with a Barber in a LONG TIME!

Aidan just straight up hit a home run! I will 100% be returning to him! He definitely earned a repeat customer!

James is fantastic. It was my second cut from him, and the second in the series for my overall hairstyle goal/change. James was patient, interested, and dedicated to getting an understanding of my style. He walked me through what he was intending to do. As the look progressed he stopped to make sure we were not only on track, but also to give his sense of what changes were necessary. He styled my hair at the end and discovered exactly what the cow-lick loving does to my hair. He adapted the cut so that we were both happy with how it looked and worked. He walked me through styling tips, products that would serve and recommendation on the next cut cadence so the look can continue coming together. He finished with the detail work. Electric shaver, hot towel, lather and shave of my neckline. He closed my session with some aftershave spray, and final tips. Well. I guess I closed with the tips… but great work doesn’t go unnoticed. ...

We think there's only one professional that understands our head, preferences, and every frustrating nuance, and to find another skilled individual is too daunting a task. I can attest that this need not be the case. Justin at the Sewickley Barbershop met and exceeded all of my expectations. His thoughtful questions to discern my style and precise hand left me with a sense of excitement with how I looked and elation that my search for a barber has ended. Justin is truly a master of his craft, despite the humility he exudes, and I can guarantee anyone fortunate enough to grace his chair will leave happy.
