I have been a HUGE fan of Halley Vincent AND her dream Seven Stories since I read about her online. When Haley's other location was sold and she was told to move others would've just give up with the rising cost of retail space but the community believed in Seven Stories as must as Haley and her family believed in it and her new space is incredible with mote possibilities. Ms Vincent continues to support other small business owners, local authors and artisans. This is the perfect example of the American Dream. If we all had our lives as together at 30 as Ms Vincent does as a High School student the world would be so much further along. This is a book lover’s paradise. While you won’t find the selection you might at bigger bookstores, Seven Stories more than makes up for it with quality. Every book for sale in the store is there because an intentional choice has been made to offer that specific book/author to patrons. If you’re looking for exposure to books/authors you might not otherwise have heard of, this is the place for you. I also thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Halley’s mum, who was happy to offer recommendations and provide interesting bits of information about the books I had chosen. This shop is an absolute labour of love and I’ll definitely be stopping back in next time...
