I really like this Target and shop here often. They generally have everything I need but are missing some household essentials that I wished they'd carry and when I can't find them I have to go Walmart across the street, which I generally hate going there. The only thing I dislike about this Target is that there are never enough Cashiers. I exclusively use the self check out because it's easier and more efficient, but they have like 20 lanes for Cashiers and usually only have 4 there, even at their most busiest times, which really creates a huge back up in the store for other shoppers like myself. I also dislike their Cucumbers because they're generally smashed, have dents, are not fresh, or too much wax. I wish Target would work with local farmers and get fresh, off the vine, out of the field produce in their store. It would be awesome, instead for fresh veggies, I grow some of my own or head to the Farmers Market. Target, you're missing out on a partnering opportunity with local KC area farmers. 12-27-2022 Target Christmas just got over, it's just 1 week onto Winter and several more months of cold weather. Yet, today, you're getting rid of cold-weather clothes and bringing out Bikinis, not cool. Wait till March or so Target. 7-19-2025 - Not enough staff to run the self check out or the Check out lanes. You need to hire more people to run the registers or turn them into self check out lanes. Really hate waiting in line when technology exists for me to check out a lot faster and you're...
Read moreI bought six uniform shirts for my daughter when they were on sale via a pickup order. After getting home I realized two of the shirts were not the item I ordered. Annoying but it happens so went back to switch them out. "Customer Service" couldn't find the order with my credit card, so I pulled up the receipt. They couldn't find the order because they gave me a different item than I had ordered. She finally located the order and said I could have the money back on my card. I explained that I didn't want that I just wanted to go grab the item I purchased and switch with these incorrect ones. She said I couldn't do that, so the money went back in my card. I went back and got the two correct shirts but now they're ringing up full price, so I went back and asked if they could ring them up at the same price as it wasn't my error. She agreed but gave major attitude during the entire return process. I ordered an item via pickup and was given the wrong item (store mistake), you are being paid to handle refunds. I have never gotten a correct order via online pickup orders so will not try again. I hope Target reviews this interaction with their staff and retrains them. I know I'll be shopping...
Read moreBeautiful, clean, brightly lit store. But ... the item I went for was not in stock. In fact, three very common items on my list were nowhere to be found. On the entire wall of the ladies' underpants multi-packs, there was not ONE single price label! What makes a retailer think his customer has time to hunt down an employee to maybe get an answer about what an item costs? The cashier was a lovely young lady who asked if I had found everything I came for. Why are the cashiers put in this position? They can't vault over their registers to go hunting down merchandise that may not even be in stock, and leave every other customer in their lines stranded. Isn't the time to ask this question while the customer is still out on the floor, shopping, by the department associates? The music was atrocious electronic beat music through our entire visit. We could not wait to get out. Target is too pricey to put up with this level of dissatisfaction. Sorry, Target, I tried hard to spend my money with you, and I only partly succeeded. I would like to shop at your company, but my time and my ears are too...
