Last year, I did a lot of business with Aaron's. I actually paid off furniture, a laptop and a few other things. I was a few months from paying off some more items when I suddenly became unemployed. I called and asked them to come get the items but they said I'm so close to paying it off, they want to try to help me keep it and THEY would not come pick up the items. Anyway, 2 months later I still can't get the money to pay, I insisted they come get the things. The people working there were very nice and pleasant to do business with and said I was one of their best customers and would welcome me back as a customer anytime. Fast forward to now. Back on my feet again, I went in to rent a playstation and found that they have had a complete staff change. They said they would have to get approval from Regional Manager before renting to me because it shows that I held on to their property for 2 months without paying.. in actuality they just refused to picked it up and I was never out of contact with them. The lady was rude and condescending and I told her if she will just look back thru their records they would see I was a good customer. Anyway, our conversation ended with me saying, "I was one of your best customers but now I'm going to RentaCenter to become one of their best customers." As soon as I walked into RentaCenter, they greeted me at the door saying they were expecting me because Aaron's had called them saying not to rent to me...blah blah blah. Read moreI only put a star because I'm required to as manager myself I highly value customer service from the start to finish of a customer relationship. To say it is lacking here would be the understatement for the year. I tried to contact this branch over the phone an obscene amount of times for a running open business after previously being promised a call back. I attached a photo as proof. I had to leave work early to go in person just to ask a question that should have been a phone call. There I had the pleasure of interacting with Bill who is the rudest manager I've encountered in an establishment in a very a long time. The lady I spoke with was nice and was trying to help me but Bill just keep interjecting over my questions. Never once did I get an apology for the phone issues or lack of call back from him. If perfect paying customers are treated with such distain I could only imagine how he would treat a customer that is a little behind. Absolutely disgusted with his customer service. This being the first in person interaction I've had with this branch since I completed everything online left a sour taste in my mouth and made me regret opening an account here. NEVER AGAIN! Do yourself a favor and go else where there's plenty of other options available in this area with better customer service. He couldn't even give me basic information on my purchase. Called once was clearly not having a good day , was rude and impatient. Called a second time ,was high tempered and rude. If your going to be in the field of Customer Service. Then you should clearly be able to handle a call concerning a Order , and based on the fact I was a new Customer, my only intent was to double checking on my Order, not write this review or to cause any trouble. He couldn't basically do anything on his end to help me with my questions. Which circumstances,might of ended on happy note. If this Manager didn't have a horrible attitude. I hope it was just a bad day and everything works out for him, but I will definitely take my money and business...
