Horrible customer service. I walked to the counter and a young lady was standing at the register. There was no greeting. I said hello and the young lady barely spoke. I wanted to order a few pieces of fish for my husband and I ask the employee if I could order fish by the piece instead of a meal or sandwich. I’m not from the south and not very familiar with Shamar’s. So, I genuinely did not know if that was an option. She was not polite at all. She was rolling her eyes and made eye contact with another employee and put her eyes up in her head while I was paying with my card and stated, “ just press the black button.” It’s the tone and the mannerisms. Customer service is important. I understand good employees are hard to come by these days but the service in stores have went down tremendously and it’s such a disappointment. But I was able to get a refund because I did pay for my food but I will not spend money at places that are not welcoming. Please train your employees better. And as a 40 year old woman, I advise these young women to develop better professionalism if they want to go...

They have the best fish in shelby. Today make the 5th time I have ate there since I moved here, I really injoyed it. Today the ladies at the cash register really made me feel welcome, the smiles on their face even the guys in the back. But one thing I didn't like was my waitress, she brought my food to me with no smile on her face place the plate on the table and didn't come bac. I had to get up and get my on refills! I over heard her complaining bout the costumers not tippin they cleaning off there on tables thats what I'm here for. I started to write her a note on a napkin and tell her (If u would pay more attention to ur tables then anythang else maybe people would leave you a tip.) I didnt see the older lady anymore until I was on my way out the door. She was up front arguing with one of the guys in the back, she wasnt worried but the tables she had. Worst place ever!! Ordered a old fashioned chili pita spent almost 20 bucks on my whole order but I ended up getting a nasty pepper jam pita I had to throw away it was gross… called back up there to to let them know they didn’t get my order correct didn’t get no answer… so I then contacted corporate no response in two weeks… they don’t wanna respond because their food is expensive and they don’t wanna replace the item that they got wrong… I don’t recommend and will not be going back

Update: Since the owner only wants to respond only to good reviews I disputed the charge of 18.43 with my credit card company and got my money back!!! Therefore I don’t care what happens now but this could’ve been resolved much easier by remaking my order but I digress… anyway I will not be returning! Have a...
