I usually have pretty good experiences at hobby lobby and frequent there often but today I felt really as though there has been some skipped customer service lessons. From the employee who was restocking the paper studio vinyl who rudely walked by and huffed and puffed as I looked for my color. Which she had her bens in front of and not once offered assistance. To the cashier at register 1 who only spoke to say hi and tell me my total because she and another employee had better things to talk about. Like who’s leaving first😂 I couldn’t even get eye contact. She kept her side to me the entire transaction. While I hate leaving these type of reviews, they are very much needed because today I almost left everything there but I needed the items in a crunch. As a small business owner I often use Hobby Lobby for my needs in short time frame orders. Most of the staff are amazing &very helpful. However you have the 1 or 2 rotten apples in the bunch to spoil it for all. They need to improve on ordering as I wait for the truck to be unloaded only for NO t-shirts to be ordered in the sizes I need. Every week something is missing. I have to drive to Gastonia to get my needs bc they are unable to do so. The lady that works in the area won't even make eye contact or speak, she needs to find a non-customer service job! As well as the manager Kim, so rude not only to customers but staff as well. I wanted to get something framed and nobody was at the custom frames desk. I kept ringing the bell and I finally flag someone down for assistance. A lady with braids comes over to help and I felt like she was not help at all. She showed me some frames in the aisle when I was specifically at the customs section. She did not have any energy to show me some recommendations and did not seem to want to help me. I felt pushed and bothered. She did not seem to know how to operate the computer.
