Long wall with the past three weeks worth of new releases, toys, cards, artwork, shelves of really great collected graphic novels, and even loads of $1 bins of retro paperbacks to flip through. Super friendly staff with a lot of knowledge on the material they sell, that let you take all the time you need to browse and never once made me feel rushed. The BEST comic store in the Louisville area. Ive been to every shop in and around Louisville and this one takes the cake in every category. Great selection, everything from classic 60s to every book released in the last few years. If i'm looking for anything whether a key, rare find, or a variant, i can usually find it here. Tons of amazing wallbooks and graded copies! The prices are also incredibly reasonable and you usually end up getting a deal from the owner! The owner is also incredibly nice, always ready to give great help, give a recommendation, and has a great program for young readers! I travel an hour once a month to stock up here for a reason! Awesome comic and card game store. They have a great selection of new and used comics, and also buy and sell Pokemon cards. My Boys absolutely love it. The man who runs the store is great. He is super friendly, and always takes the time to talk to my kids and even teaches them magic tricks. I used to shop at the old stand by in the highlands, but the store in Shepherdsville is worth the drive just for the friendly service. Unlike that other "great" store in Louisville, the people here are friendly and actually seem happy to see you, no matter how many questions my kids ask.
