Very unsatisfied. I dropped a ring off to be resized and sautered together. I explained when I dropped the ring off that the ring was sterling silver not gold (I have a gold allergy) they did not say that would be a problem and again all I requested be done was a resize (making the ring a size smaller) and to sauter the two rings together. It was finished within 3 days. When I went to pick it up I was charged $130 As I was paying and getting the ring back I notice it had a darker color to it, the lady helping me offered to bring it back to be polished and came back shortly with who I assumed was the jewler who worked on my ring. The ring was tarnished very noticeably and he said " that's what sterling silver does, that's why we don't work with it." I said " well then why did you? Why didn't you just call me and tell me you couldn't do it." This was followed with " unfortunately you got a new girl who didn't know that. " This isn't her fault and doesn't change The fact that HE worked on it and ruined it. It somehow tarnished in 3 days and It is also missing a stone! There was no apology and no offer to try to fix the problem. I will no longer do business there! No it wasn't an expensive gold diamond ring but it meant something to me and I felt like they cared very little if at all that it was now ruined. I came back to town specifically to visit Riddles on July 15th, and planned to get my engagement ring cleaned, buy my fiance's wedding band, and look at bands for myself. When I walked into the store, neither of the two younger ladies working acknowledged me. I walked back to the section I was wanted to purchase from and waited for 5-10 minutes thinking maybe they were busy working on something else. In those 10 minutes, no one acknowledged me, told me they would be with me in a minute, or asked if they could help me. I continued to walk around the store before feeling like they were not interested in my business or helping me, so I left. This is not the first time this has happened to me at this store. Recently purchased an engagement ring and wedding band from this Riddles location. I cant give this place enough praise. Customer service is fantastic. They go above and beyond to make sure you find exactly what you need. Quality of the product is fantastic. Was fortunate enough to be able to meet with the owner Scott as well.
