Extremely Disappointing Experience

I recently visited the Sports Stop and I was taken aback by the service—or lack thereof. While I was trying to shop, one of the employees seemed to take an unusual interest in my every move, following me around the store as if she suspected I was shoplifting.

It was incredibly uncomfortable and made my shopping experience tense and unenjoyable. I understand that stores need to protect their merchandise, but there's a big difference between being vigilant and making a customer feel like a criminal. I wanted to browse and make my selections without feeling like I was under a microscope.

I visited 7/14 late afternoon looking for walking shorts. I looked on the first floor and couldn't find the kind I was looking for. Dressed in obvious sport attire, I waited for a customer to finish and asked the lady, blond, fat, big busted where I could find walking shorts and she proceeded to talk to me like I was stupid stating they were all around. I held up my hand to stop the harangue and she told me to leave the store. Not a problem and I turned to leave and she followed me and as I left the door she told me to also leave Sheridan. A great place to get amped up for the great outdoors, but don't expect a grand selection. The staff can be knowledgeable, if they acknowledge your presence inside their store, which is probably my only gripe about the store. You will have to "inconvenience" the staff to get them to help you. Prices are generally on parr with what you'll find online, but not competitive. You'll pay a bit more for the convenience of purchasing the product you need for your next adventure now, rather than waiting for overnight shipping – which is a joke in...
