Visited James Avery counter at 1930 last Thursday. I wanted to purchase a charm for my bracelet due to it being my birthday gift. My husband accompanied me and the charm was picked out in less than 5 min. I had 2 necklaces as well that I asked to be cleaned. Associated refused, stating the necklaces only took 5 minutes to clean with a cloth and could be done upon pick up of bracelet following day because 20 minutes was not long enough to add the charm and clean. Next day rolls atound. Bracelet isnt ready. Following day, hubby called, couldnt find what he was talking about. Finally found it and said it was ready for pick up. Drove the 20 minutes to pick it up and the charm was literally seperated into 2 pieces, the bracelet was not clean...and still was asked to leave necklaces for cleaning after all. The second time we drove over, it was a different associate in which did not know how to help. She was busy visiting her kids that had came for a visit. She just called the manager and when Manager arrived, she began my experience with, "supposedly", which is never professional nor compassionate. To make things even worse, the manager started blame shifing initial associate by stating, "I even asked her specifically ". Needless to say, this will be the last $ spent at this location for James Avery. PS... Still do not have...
Read moreI have been told by an employee from a different Dillards that the Sherman Dillards is like an outlet. There are some old things here that aren't sold in most other Dillards, which explains why nothing is on trend. Barely anything good in juniors. No furniture. Limited bedding. It seems like whoever is in charge of selecting merchandise has a very frumpy, old lady like style. I wouldn't recommend teens or young adult college age shopping here. I also don't like how you cannot enter the mall through Dillards, they blocked that off so if you want to go from Dillard's to Burlington you have to walk outside through the back parking lot to get to Burlington and the inside of the mall. The men's section as in dress shirts and ties is the best thing here but I...
