Beware of buying from this store if you are on a military base. They tell you that they can deliver on base, and even prompt you to check that you are on a military base when you order online-so they know immediately. We were given multiple phone and email reminders about our set delivery time. Then, 15 minutes before the end of our 2 hour delivery window, we receive a call saying that they have to reschedule because we live on a military base and they do not have anyone authorized to get onto base. We offered to escort them onto base (which we have done with a Target furniture delivery before) and the manager quickly became short with us and said it wasn't possible. I'm upset with the unprofessionalism of the manager, and also with the scheduling as a whole. If we had been notified prior to being given a delivery window that we needed to reschedule the date simply because we were on the base, this would have been no big deal. We were also never told in advance that they only deliver on base one day a month, because not all of their workers are US Citizens. So what happens to those they can't fit into their schedule on that day? Do they have to get pushed to the next month? Just food for thought for anyone living on a military base. We do love our couch so far, just not the hassle it took and the information that was concealed from us when we asked about...
Read more*Buyer Beware! * Absolutely the worse customer service and logistics I have had period! Ordered a sectional from the furniture gallery last month. On the day of delivery they called and said they were 20 minutes away. They never showed and told dispatch they attemped delivery, I took the whole day off of work and I had no delivery attempt. I called the store and had them set up a new date due to macys failing to deliver in a punctual manner. This new delivery date was two weeks later. The day before the new delivery date I called to confirm product delivery, and a macys employee I was speaking to stated "oh... , I'm going to have to call you back" fast forward two hours, I get a call saying "I don't have such great news" "something happened with the paperwork and the sectional you ordered is now canceled and sold to another buyer" "I'm trying to wrap my head around other options for you" .....yeah okay..... The worst customer service imaginable. Read moreWe recently purchased multiple new furniture items from the Macy's Silverdale location. The store had very good selection, especially in the sleep section. We were pleased with the overall process and discount that was offered for opening a new Macy's credit card account.
While we did have to wait a few weeks for delivery due to inventory, the delivery itself was probably the best part of our customer experience. Davey was delivery driver, he and his teammate did an exceptionally good job taking our old mattress out and getting the new one perfectly in place. They were also awesome with getting our new recliner up the stairs and into the living room. This was definitely the most professional delivery service we've ever had.
Great job Macy's team! We'll be coming...
