Target — Local services in Simi Valley

I have been to many Targets over the years and all over the country. I never thought I’d have to write a bad review for one...but this one deserves it!

My wife and I moved to the area recently and we have stopped at this Target many times. They NEVER have what we are looking for, they are always understaffed with cashiers and the store is always a mess and with pallets of merchandise sitting around all day waiting to be stocked. Then, just today, I found an item I was hoping to purchase for a while and when I tried they told me they couldn’t sell it to me! I understood that it was a manufacturer’s mandate, but then why was it out on the shelf in the first place???

I recently came to this Target to buy some cosmetics and unfortunately the cosmetic section has been completely reorganized after a recent remodel. It is now a maze and it is impossible to find anything. I couldn't even find the body wash and the hair/ skin care products are scattered all over the place. There is even a separate area entirely devoted to cosmetics marketed toward men. It is an absolute organizational mess. I wandered around for 10 minutes until I got so frustrated that I left without buying anything. I'm sure the Target execs who greenlit this change are hoping that making their customers wander around the store will cause them to spend more time in the store and therefore buy more things, but I am done. I can't see myself ever going back to this location for anything unless I am desperate. Complete...

Who leaves a review for somewhere as common as Target? Well most don't but I had to after my exceptional service received here. I almost thought I was back in the South it was so sincere and friendly!

We were looking for the new Bendy toys. All we saw was the one my sone had, enter Wes. His positive energy and sincere personality was great to see at a 'big box' store. He took the time to look up the sku and hunt down more options of the toy in back. This is the customer service that made Target.

Then we went up to self checkout. Evidently the register system didn't have the sku yet as the toy was so new. Again another very helpful employee came to our rescue and quickly got us sorted. I will definitely make the trip from T.O. to the Simi store after the phenomenal...
