9/17/2018 - Afternoon Update: I called to get the confirmation email for my purchase because it hadn't come within the hour but the charge was pending on my account and guess what they told me? ANS Gear decided not to do business with me because I left them a bad review on Yelp (out of Xtreme frustration) so they said they WOULD NOT be sending my smoke grenades and that the order was cancelled. Specifically it was stated that their Quality Control chose not to do business with me which is actually worse for your business because if anyone asks me about their service I will always tell them to not purchase and take your money elsewhere. Great business strategy. What a foul company. Instead of understanding my frustration they made matters worse by completely trying to ruin my birthday shoot. Thankfully I just found a distributor that I can go to, to meet my needs. So unprofessional it's laughable.
9/17/2018 - Early Morning: I ordered smoke grenades for my birthday shoot. For some reason they chose to use FedEx smart post. Who knew that with FedEx smart post it goes through USPS. USPS is horrible and had I known that my items would be coming through USPS I would not have ordered online. USPS shipped to my office on a Saturday and because I listed my correct floor which is a floor that they refuse to deliver to they RETURNED my item to the shipper. Mind you USPS is closed on Sunday. Today is Monday and I have been given the run around with FedEx, USPS, and ANS Gear. It's bad enough my order took over a week to get to me but now that USPS has returned my package I'm left to scramble around to locate it and get it on time. The supervisor Jessie has stated that I had to pay for shipping to have it sent to me on time which is RIDICULOUS. I paid for it because that is the only option I have because it is for my shoot but I WILL NEVER order through ANS Gear again because they don't value the customer and are not willing to work to make sure that end costs make sense. Jessie has also stated that he doesn't have a supervisor. So I'll have to reach out to corporate. First Order: Product ($24.00) free shipping. Second Order: Free product ($23.66 - 2 day shipping) Total cost $47.66 for 4 smoke bombs that only last 60 seconds all because USPS returned my package. It's so unfair. The least they could have done was thrown in an extra smoke bomb or two for my troubles. Happy...
Read moreI was planning a gender reveal for my sister, I ordered my paintballs from ANS since my husband has ordered from here before. We got the paintballs in the mail, the shell matched the colors advertised on the website photo which at the time were green shell= pink paint, bluish/ purplish shell= blue paint. Keep in mind that is all we had to go by since there was no labeling on the packages themselves. The ones the grandfather loaded into the hopper were the bluish/ purplish ones... pink paint is splashing all over the canvas they were planning to keep for the baby's room. BUT to our utter surprise it's a BOY and the paint was supposed to be blue! You can imagine the disappointment on everyone's face, especially the mother to be who was very confused.
To top it off customer service for this place was no help. After seeing my husbands review of 1 star... they magically updated the photo to depict what we had received... It's a little too late for that. They offered no sincere apology for a mix up they are totally 100% responsible for. They said they would "see" about getting us a refund... that is the least they could do.
The supervisor, JESSE, took 0 responsibility and he stated it was our fault for not checking them. JESSE is a complete joke of a "supervisor". We should have checked them, but my mistake for trusting a shady company that takes no accountability. I WILL be telling all of my friends and my husbands ENTIRE paintball team to never trust this company for any paintball needs.
We can't get that moment back for the parents to be. This companies customer service is the worst I have EVER experienced.
Oh and to top it off they DELETED the negative reviews my husband posted their website, after JESSE telling us they have great reviews on this product. This company CANNOT be trusted. They have also DELETED my review. What a shady...
Read moreLet me just start off by saying I have never been impressed to the point where it made me want to take the time out of my day to sit down and write a review but the time and effort that James put into helping me pick the right paintball gun for my style was incredible. He had so much knowledge and was able to answer every question that I threw at him. He even threw in a couple of personal experiences and scenarios which really made me feel like he knew what he was talking about and not just trying to sell me something that I would probably see as a waste of money in a month or so. They say the first impression is the most important, this was my fist time going to a paintball store or even attempting to learn anything paintball related and I can tell you I'm glad I took the time to drive all the way to Simi Valley from Compton to purchase my paintball supplies. James did not treat me like I was just some wanna be or some waste of time customer that wasn't gonna buy anything. He took the time to ask me questions and make sure the purchase was the right fit. James treated me as if he really wanted me to enjoy my paintball experience and Thanks to him I had a blast. For that reason I have kept in contact with James and still call the store and ask for his EXPERTISE anytime I have a question about a upcoming purchase. I work at a hospital so my customer service has to be on point at all times this is why I can appreciate the time and patience that James exhibited. Hopefully James gets to read this and now understands why I appreciate his service enough to sit down and write this review. Thanks James keep setting the example. Sincerely Your Homie...
