Big Lots not only has some pretty awesome furniture, but they also have an amazing leasing program that allows you to return the furniture with no penalty to stop the leasing program. However, the people managing the furniture section of the store are not as much of a pleasure to work with. My furniture had tears in the fabric once I unwrapped it upon getting it home. I returned to the store about exchanging the sofa and was told that not only could they not order one, that I'd have to wait for the system to trigger an auto regeneration, but also, that they could not tell me how long that might be. My overall experience with a manager named Traci was reckless. Nothing about this lady screams 'leadership.' So, in essence, purchase your furniture from a place that warrants furniture, will have a way to replace defective furniture on demand, and values the time and money that you invest in their store.

This is the best place you could possibly shop! They have a smorgasbord of Christmas themed goods, furniture, personal items and even collagen brownies! It's like walking through the cleanest flea market you can imagine. Though I've never been to the North Pole, I can imagine it would look just like this! My mom said that it could only have been better if we had hot chocolate while walking through. Don't sleep on Big Lots for your Christmas fix!

I usually do not give any reviews but this right here was too much for me and my daughter as we were shopping. We decided to check out the pet area and see if we can find something for our puppy. As my daughter started looking and picking up items she came across a box of rotting mildew bones that were sitting on the shelf. I will never be shopping at the Simpsonville BigLots ever again.

Employees are super nice and super friendly they have great prices on some things and something if they do not they have some stuff that is overpriced when you can go to Dollar Tree and get the same exact item for a dollar wow Big Lots price is way more. Also they have way too much stuff and the Isles that furniture spread out all over in the middle of the store and then have Island like things near the cash register not enough room for two buggies to go down it if they are coming at each other from different ways. If there are customers standing in line there is no room to go because of the islands being in the way in the furniture Department being right there to then they have the summer furniture out and it's in the middle of the aisle along with Islands they have a lot of stuff crammed into spaces. And the racks that they have for clearance is over cramped with stuff on one it's got a bunch of different types of knickknacks and other things that are all together there's a lot of broken glass, opened chemicals that are on the bottom shelf children could easily get hurt on and then on down in the food department the clearance rack of that one I have a lot of open food a lot of that stuff has been sitting there for a while. I feel like Big Lots is trying to become a furniture store instead of an all-around store. The furniture Department always looks great and clean and spacious wow the remainder of the other Isles of the other stuff is just thrown everywhere not neat. But anything that deals with home, bedding for bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, even outside decor is very tidy and nice looking. The remainder of everything else looks like a store going out...

Im a local resident and long time shopper at this location. I know most all of the employees and they know me but my. I often travel by foot with a backpack in tow and had never had any problems but ever since the new manager (African American man with glasses in his late 40s)came in I am harassed by him any time I come in with it on. First time I was told I can't have a backpack, fine. I understand that so the next time I came in I set it next to the doors as I come in. Next thing I know it's "sir!" He says I cant leave it there bc there could be a bomb in it. Really?? So I just leave not willing to deal with suh nonsense. Next few times I come in(with my backpack) I shop, purchase my items and leave. Today I come in and walk through the door he's messing with buggiies. We make eye contact and I proceed starting to shop. Then, all of a sudden it's "sir!" And he's in my face again a out my backpack. So I confront him and said I can't have it on and I can't leave it so... And he says I can leave "outside the store" where it can be stolen. I don't think so. On account his prejiduce big lots lost a customer and will not get anymore of my money. Their loss. Also I checked into it and there is no such policy saying no bags in store further confirming my suspicion that he's just prejudice. Update: apparently some money went missing or was misplaced and this GM opened an investigation, get this... on himself. He was not brought back on for...

I came by last night around 7:30 pm to pick up a couple items my Husband asked me to get on my way back from work. When I got to the register there were two teen boys on front line. One rang me up but there was an error (it happens) so he asked his coworker (mr petulant) what went wrong. This boy happily and loudly says “HER CARD BALANCE IS 13 CENTS” I said “no it’s not” (I had just gotten paid). He asked, with the high school bully tone, if I wanted to try again and I said yes. So the second try my card was declined. He HAPPILY, LOUDLY AND BOASTFULLY ANNOUNCED THAT MY CARD WAS DECLINED FOR INSUFFICIENT FUNDS. He enjoyed it! I said “hell no it’s not”. He made yet another rude statement and I left. I went to my car and checked my card balance on my phone and MY BALANCE WAS FULL FROM MY PAYCHECK!! Who trained these BOYS?! They can’t act right. Rude, snarky, petulant and arrogant. No customer service skills whatsoever and OBVIOUSLY incapable of doing their jobs correctly. Seriously! They need to be trained on how to do their jobs right and how to act. There was no sense in any of that. It’s a big lots in sc, no need to...
