Impressively better than expected.

I remember flipping through my dad’s HF catalogs in the early 90’s. The dreams I had about the stuff I could build! We ordered a few things from Harbor Freight but most struck me as a little cheap and easily broken. But the vice, drill press, and electric impact continue to survive 20 to 30 years later.

Though the prices are higher, the quality makes many things a great value. I would not hesitate to buy hand and impact tools, grinding, cutting wheels, light, and most accessories. I’m a bit more hesitant with electronics.

The downside is the short warranty. Whatever you buy, put it through its paces before 90 days to make sure it’s solid. In some cases, the extended warranty might make sense, but it can also lose the value of the tool and you could buy a similar item for less with similar warranty elsewhere. Do the homework. Or use a credit card that automatically extends mfr warranties for you.

The staff and management are excellent. The stock levels may not match what is on the website, if you need something critical, call them...

Horrible service and quality products, we did bought a set of tires for a project Kart with my son back in October 30/2023 to try the tires in the go kart that we had just finished on January 4 2023 and in reality we didn't have the time to test them until this day 3 months later and the Garbage wheels that we got broke off the axles at the first turn. I try to talk to a manager to help with my son proyect but they refuse to exchange then for a "better set" or give us a discount to get the new set. We did have to purchase a difrence set but this will be the last time I get something from "Garbage Freight". crappie products, don't throw your money away on garbage.. wasted $48 from my son proyect money that he saved from mowing grass this...

Stephanie one of the store managers on the floor putting up stock today wasn't very helpful or even interested in helping when trying to ask her a question she tried to avoid us and then we followed thinking maybe she just did not hear us we ask her where something was oh wewe have never sold those so I looked around thinking umm 🤔 I know I've saw those things here looking and looking and then on the battery isle I found the battery clips I was looking for so I get to the counter and Keener was working there and he was very helpful wanting to get me any thing he could apologize for his manager several times over just thinking maybe he should be the Manager just saying don't ask Stephanie for help she's to busy for...
