What a lovely store! My husband and I were traveling and he saw the billboard on freeway and asked if I wanted to stop in. Of course I did. I was greeted by the nicest ladies. They gave me the help I needed. They did extensive research on a walking foot that I had been looking for. It was and older machine and I was happy to see the willingness to go beyond the normal. then some very rude people came into the store asking where the quilts for sale were. The ladies explained that this was a quilt store. We sell fabric to make quilts. They were not happy and I felt a little rude to the ladies in the store. They owner said that she had many quilts that she could bring out for them to look at and perhaps purchase. But they refused and stormed out. Most people know that when you see a quilt store. It's a store to purchase Fabric and sewing machines and not to purchase quilts. All in all I witnessed these Shop ladies be respectful and polite. Which I was proud to see. This is the way quilters act. Love the person...
Read moreI just absolutely LOVE Marietta's Quilt & Sew!! The first time I went to Marietta's, I lived 385 miles away. I liked it so much that I came back to take a class, which was a great class. It was one of the few classes I've been to that everybody walked out with COMPLETED projects.
I continued to visit whenever I was in Simpsonville, but now I have moved here, and I go so often that lots of times my GPS will announce "9 minutes to Marietta's."
One of my Florida friends came up to take one of Beckie's collage classes, and she is coming back for the Poppins Bag class.
The fabric selection is wonderful, and the associates there are super helpful with picking out the perfect colors. I learned about Accuquilt there, and I don't know how I did without one. The machine selection is phenomenal, and repairs can be done in house. And classes - there's a class for just about anything you might want to do.
But the best part is that everyone there is super friendly and helpful - it's like...
Read moreI just need to say that the “after sale” customer service and support at this shop is second to none. When I went in to purchase my sewing cabinet the staff member was a little unsure re: some of the answers to my questions. She went out of her way to ask and then do some internet searching. By the time I left the shop all my questions were answered and I ordered a new cabinet. Waiting for delivery a few questions came up regarding the delivery restrictions. Debbie was right on it. She called Arrow and got back to me immediately. The day of delivery was … deep sigh … a minor issue. Debbie, again jumped on the phone with Arrow and kept me up to date and informed re: the resolution. This shop is an hour away from me. There are other shops closer. I will be doing my shopping and classes here. Diane is a calming gem at the other end of the phone. She empathized with a bit of my stress. Thank you ladies for being...
