I am taking the time to write this due to my unfavorable experience here over the weekend. I ordered a shirt and paid online on Friday with the intention of picking it up on Saturday. When I got there on Saturday afternoon, I was not even greeted by the two women working there. I walked around for a bit while I listened to one of the female associates have conversations with two other customers about menopause and vacations. I patiently waited. Still no acknowledgment. The other associate was restocking some items close by so I got her attention and let her know I was there for a pick up and asked if she could assist. She was kind enough to help me by retrieving my item. What happened next shocked me. While standing there, a woman approached the counter, smiled at me and placed her items on the counter with a receipt. The associate took the receipt from her and told her abruptly that she could not take her receipt and she needed the “original.” The woman looked confused and stated it was the receipt. The associate helping me snapped and said, “We aren’t taking that today! Now bye bye!” It was the nastiest response to someone who could have been my mother. The lady asked, “Who are you talking to?” and stated that she was speaking with the other associate and that my associate should focus on working with me. The lady was calm. The associate helping me then said, Well I’m assisting her! And we aren’t taking it! Bye bye! Have a good day! The lady didn’t say a word. She grabbed her items and proceeded to the door. She even held it open for me as I was leaving. It was my first and last time going to this location. I have never experienced such dismissive behavior. Both of their conduct lacked professionalism and customer service. I felt bad for the other customer and even if they could not take the receipt she presented, the delivery should have been better than what was received.
