The Main Gourmet — Local services in Smithfield

I've visited The Main Gourmet several times and have come away impressed with each visit. I love the wide selection of imported and domestic items that they have in stock - especially the meats and cheeses which seem tailor-made for charcuterie boards! The "Sweets Room" (to borrow the phrase from another reviewer) has so many amazing treats that it can be hard to choose from among the locally made baked goods from The Cake House, the ridiculous variety of truffles, or even the wall of vintage candies! Personally, I find the chocolate chip cookies to be borderline addictive...

Overall, I think this shop is a great addition to downtown Smithfield. I hope that they'll be able to expand their storefront soon, because that would mean there will be even more wonderful things to...
