Vintage Potential is an amazing shop that brings you back to the days of when you were a kid, surrounding you with a collection of vintage items that will make you say “it reminds me of my mom’s kitchen “ or “I remember having one of those”. Jessica takes meticulous care to pick out the best to display in her store or present it for sale during her weekly auction. I have purchased several items and have never been disappointed. I’m always looking for clip earrings for my mom, pink depression glass and that little something I can use in the kitchen. If Jessica doesn’t have it she will do her best to get it for you. One of my treasures I have is a double string pearl necklace I got from her shop for Mother’s Day the first year her shop was open. It’s a similar necklace to what one of my grandmothers had when she went out for special occasions. I’ll be wearing it for an awards dinner this weekend and remember her fondly.

Hands down, Vintage Potential is simply one of my all time favorite stores to visit anytime I am in Downtown Smithfield. Downtown Smithfield is a location that is easily considered trendy and lively while is also maintains its quaint, hometown feel. Vintage Potential is the perfect addition in this area as the shop always offers one of a kind, beautiful and well thought out Vintage items for their shop. From mid-century modern pieces to vintage costume jewelry, to 1980's cartoon drinking glasses and beyond, their is always a treasure to be found for every customer that comes through the door. In addition to the Smithfield store front, Vintage Potential also hosts live auctions on YouTube every Wednesday night at 7:00 where even more wonderful, one-of-a-kind treasures can be found. VINTAGE POTENTIAL IS AN AMAZING STORE!!! I have been coming to this store for years. When I first moved to Smithfield, she made me feel so welcome when I came into the store. I still have the very first item I purchased years ago and put it out every Christmas. Not only does this store have the BEST items, but the care that Jessica and the Family put into making everyone feel welcome. They offer online sales which are WONDERFUL and always fun (If you have not participated in the live online auctions, you need to check out Vintage Potential on YouTube it is so much fun).
