Christmas Store — Local services in Smithfield

I felt like a kid in a candy shop! There are some many neat things to look at and touch. Unless you are a kid, then it’s a good idea to look with your eyes and not your hands.

The store has so so much more than I would’ve thought when I walked in. There are tons of neat little themed areas. Smithfield pigs and farms, gardens, dogs and cats, hunting and fishing, beaches and flamingos, and so many of the different more traditional and non-traditional Christmas themes we are used to.

Some may call the store cluttered, but in reality it is a beautifully designed set up. Each themed section has its very own design. One section is set up like the front of a building with the North Pole.

There are so many neat items that I was a bit afraid to lose my paycheck there. Thankfully, the prices were much better than I would’ve expected and I was happy with everything I walked out with.

Even better, everyone who works there was very kind and extremely helpful.

I think the only downside, if you want to call it that, is how real and life like the life-size “people” are. It’s neat of real these things look, but they also startled me a few times. I think I even recall saying “excuse me” when I walked in front of one of them.

If this place does not get you in the Christmas spirit, I feel bad for you. lol. I went into this store when the town of Smithfield was having street fair. It was packed inside. So, I just looked, but I will be back with a list in hand when I can shop at a more leisurely pace. They have beautiful ornaments and decorations to make your house and tree fabulous...

The owner is very friendly and personable. Great salesman helping us find what we needed. The store is not just a Christmas store.
