The Kroger too busy to care. Despite trying to get my prescriptions synched for many months and having been told by Kroger that they are synched, I still have to come back 3-4 times every Month to get a full set of Monthly prescriptions. Just one more aggravation and a pain in my rear. Today I was told that they do not synch prescriptions. Theyād told me over a year ago that they did and a sign inside says they do but I could never get them to. They would say itād take several cycles to get them synched, but after a year, they never have. Still not synched as of Aug 1, 2022.
As of today Aug 6, 2022 I continue to be jerked around by this Pharmacy ( and maybe partly by my Medical Provider. All I know is that I cannot count on things to go smoothly or consistently. Iāve been attempting to get refills. Sometimes it goes smoothly, sometimes theyāll say theyāll call the Doctor for a refill, but if their first call fails to get results, theyāll wait until I come back to tell me. In some cases Iāve had to come back 3-4 times just to get a prescription refilled. I hate it to the point that I sometimes wonder if they are just trying to get me in the store to buy something. Quite the opposite. These Pharmacy problems cause me to NOT shop in the Grocery as much as I used to.
Now another problem has popped up. Somehow, after using this pharmacy for several years, when I try and order through my phone, itāll ask me for a prescription number. When I provide the number, it says it does not recognize my phone number that Iāve used for years. I tried to straighten out the problem with the pharmacy. They said they could not fix it and referred my to Krogerās 800 number. I called it and waited in the queue for about 15 minutes only to be tranferred again and again to ācustomer serviceā reps who couldnāt fix it so they transferred me again and again. I never did get a resolution. I guess the answer is to find a new pharmacy that is not Kroger. Update. I finally did find a...

I have my group ID, member #, group ID. I don't have my card yet (which would have my BIN & PCN#s), but my insurance is active. And there is a phone number for the Pharmacy to call Humana if needed.
The clerk at Kroger Pharmacy asked for my BIN#. I explained my situation. This is what she told me, "I can't do anything without the BIN# because we need to know who to bill." I explained that I won't get the card for another week or two, and reiterated that I have coverage and need to pick up my prescription today. I asked if she could look up the rest of the info using my member ID, SSN, etc. She said no, we can't look that up, and there's nothing she can do without the BIN#. She didn't even say "sorry."
I'm glad to see that Kroger has their priorities: 1. Money 2. People. And I thank God I'm not dependent on this Rx to live, I'm only going to have a non-stop migraine until I can get my next dose. Apparently an IOU from a $40B insurance provider isn't good enough, Kroger thinks I should wait to get my medicine, so they don't have to wait to get paid.
I will NEVER patronize a Kroger...

I prefer the Kroger brand. She began to humiliate me with questions, I explained my situation and she sold me the syringes. I only bought one pack because they didnāt have the size that I prefer. I went back a week later and she refused sell me another pack without proof of a new perception. I told her I couldnāt provide one at that moment and that I would have to use a used dirty needle to put my insulin in before dinner tonight.
