I recently had a Swedish massage with LaLa there. This may very well be the best massage I’ve had ever and if it’s made me forget the other top massages I’ve had over the years (including those from overseas) then it is definitely one of the top 3! I highly recommend her! She asked me of course, what area(s) did I have any issues with and she pretty much applied perfect pressure to those spots. At one point, I wondered if she used accessories because it felt like a machine was on me but that was the work of her anointed hands! Only once did it get to be a bit much and it was so very brief that I decided to trust her and not really mention it. Right about that time, she checked in with me (which she did a couple of times throughout the massage) and I told her about it and she explained that she did that because my muscles were tight in that area. Again, it was brief but because I was so very well pleased overall, I didn’t say anything beforehand. My husband and I have a massage table (that we never really use but always intend to) but I told him we both need to treat ourselves (in between our proposed self massages) to an individual session with LaLa, so he can experience what I did! I went for 2 services for a birthday surprise from my hubby: a one hour facial and a one hour massage. The lady that did my facial seemed very knowledgeable, but she kept bragging about her skills and gossiping. She would not stop talking. She also applied the facial creams, scrubs, etc to my eye area and gave me a damp paper towel to clean them off afterwards. My eyes were burning and watering for 3 hrs because there was so much product on my lashes. I couldn't get it all off with the paper towel. When I got home I had to wash my eye area to get the product off. Now for the best part... my massage was done by Maria and it was the best massage I've ever had (and I've had a lot of massages). Her hands were soft and strong at the same time. She moves her hands like water around your body. She will most definitely be seeing me again on her table. The water dispenser was empty and no one was able to lift the bottle to refill it (I was a lil lightheaded), but the lady at the front desk gave me some of hers. I will definitely recommend Spa Stinny for massages. A few changes and the esthetician could be much more professional; also advise that she provide a warm, moist fabric towel to clean your eyes off or avoid putting products on the eyes all together (outside of eye cream). I visited this establishment on Saturday 8/7/2021 and received this worst massage. During the massage I was actually wondering if I was being massaged by a student. I was massaged by Victor, and this guy was terrible. This was not a pleasant or relaxing experience at all. There was no way to rest or relax with the roughness of everything, including the movement of the sheets. Hey Victor, have you ever heard of gently rolling the sheets back as opposed to yanking them? I have never received a massage without being asked "are you okay" during the massage. I felt like he was in so much of a hurry that he didn't realize that he was making my experience horrible. I did not enjoy anything, not even the application of the massage oil. He rubbed the lotion on just enough to be able to say it was applied smh, and I hated the elbow massage. I was being pushed so hard during the massage that my body rocked. How could you relax?!? Needless to say, I ended what was supposed to be an hour massage in the middle of the massage and requested a manager. I ended up speaking with someone named Johayda and she apologized and assured me that someone named Ayana ( owner/Manager) will be reaching out to me regarding my complaints about Victor.
