My experience today at wild birds unlimited was very odd ! There were four young ladies working , well standing huddled at the register. The moment I opened the door I felt all eyes on me. I proceeded to the bird food , still looking at me as if " she's black " surprised or annoyed ? I felt they didn't expect a black person to feed the birds , let alone come into a specialty store. I know I was well dressed , Michael kors shoes , Dooney and Bourke handbag , matching wallet , Ralph Lauren pants and top. I've been a customer off and on for years I'd bring my mom to the store since 1992 when I moved to Georgia. This was not the first time I've felt a weirdness. I purchased a humming bird feeder and regular bird feeder, along with the mounting brackets and foods for both. Within 1 hr of installing everything, we have humming birds at the nectar feeder and every other kind of bird in the area at the seed feeder. My cats love the view, which was my motivation.

The 2 ladies that helped me were very knowledgeable and kind. I'm very happy.

Hey guys, This is a good place to get good quality bird food. My mother loves to watch birds when she eats. She's 84. Anyway, the employees are super friendly and helpful. The food is a bit pricey, I pay 12.99 for a five pound bag I'm guessing, but it's good food and my backyard birds love it. Check out the store. They have really neat birdbaths, creative things for the gardens, and of course squirrel proof feeders. I paid 70 dollars for mine, but I have had it for five or six years.
