When Tropical Smoothie first opened up in the Snellville, GA location, the staff was on point. However, the staff has been slacking lately. I understand they are young staff and can get very busy, especially at this location. But the quality is falling a bit short. I placed online orders, and later found big chunks of fruit and ice after I picked up the orders. Another time, I placed online orders, I came in and they had ran out of large cups. So they were giving customers small sized cups to compensate, which was fine, but how can the manager not order enough supplies? It posed issues when trying to take multiple orders to go, as I had about 8 small cups to carry out with NO CUP HOLDERS. Another time, I waited 20 minutes to get my smoothie, the cashier girl had somehow misplaced my receipt for others to make the smoothie. Others who came after me, had received their orders and left. They accommodated me once I came up to the counter and pointed it out, but neither the cashier or manager on duty did not even apologize, she just looked at me. I was like, "well, I have my payment receipt right here, so someone should go ahead and make my order as I've been waiting over 20 minutes". I am a paying customer, and I do tip as long as customer service is up to standards. Nonetheless, I have been finding myself disappointed regarding customer service at this location. Perhaps re-train the staff, to understand how to handle situations as I know many of them are young workers, so I give them a break, but at the same time, they should also be learning proper work ethics. Or at least have the Manager wear something different so he/she can be identified so customers can...
Read moreOkay so... Just left tropical smoothie cafe. My brother and I both got a buffalo wrap and a smothie each.
After we order we sit on the bar stools and watch them make are order. First off, the bananas they used had black marks all on them and looked slimy also. And im not afraid of a bruised banana but i think id pass on a majority black and slimey one.
But anyways . A girl makes my smoothie and gets it to me quick! She even put the extra smothie in a smaller cup for me, which i have never gotten before. So that was nice. But the guy that made my brothers smothie just left it in the blender and made like 4 more smoothies before someone asked him "what is this smoothie doing here" and he forgot who's smoothie it was. Once we said that it was ours he didnt put the extra smoothie in a small cup like the other girl did for me.
We started to wait for like 10/15 more mins for our wraps and i noticed how alot of people that came in after us were getting their food. So i asked the lady to check for the buffalo wraps and our food had just been sitting on the counter the whole time.
Finally we pull into kroger and try our smoothies and wraps , the smoothies were okay but the wraps were really bad. The chicken in ths wraps had a weird texture and everything was DROWNED in the sauce , the ranch, and tomato juice. I could litterally pour the juice and sauce out of the wraps.
Only thing i can say i thoroughly enjoyed from them was their pumpkin smoothie back in...
Read moreListen to the reviews. This Tropical Smoothie location (Snellville) has poor customer service. I’m writing this review after REPEATED bad experiences. I was hoping that since it’s been over a year since my last visit that things would be better.
I placed a curbside order. After 20 minutes past the time that it was supposed to be delivered to my car, I went inside.
There were FOUR OR FIVE young people on the clock, and only one young man behind the counter making smoothies. The other workers were all sitting down at a table doing nothing.
After I asked about my curbside order, they then handed me my order, which had just been sitting BEHIND the counter for well over 10 minutes (not even on top of the counter where order pickups are placed for grabbing). I asked why none of the people who were chillin at the table could bring my order curbside after it was made, and they acted nonchalant.
The manager needs to do some SERIOUS training of their staff. Why are there so many people on the clock not attending to company business? Why advertise curbside and not follow through?
And no the restaurant was not busy. I was the only one inside, so there were no excuses for why my order should not have been brought outside on time as advertised.
Bottom line: DO NOT waste your time spending money at this location. If you look at all their reviews, the manager answers some of them, so they are WELL AWARE of what’s going on, but does NOTHING to improve the...
