Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Snellville

Update 6/30/22 Tried again around 5pm. Pleasantly surprised. This time it was no cash, card only. HOWEVER, I asked the drive thru if they had hot regular sized donuts and he said yes. Still I was skeptical. Ordered 1 dz hot then went on to specialty donuts. They were out of lemon and raspberry. But most everything else was available. Got up to window and I could SEE the hot donuts coming off the conveyor. Got our order. Box was hot. Had to park and savor the fresh hot ones. Opened the box and they looked perfect. Right size, right amount of glaze and oh did they taste good! The drive through guy was very pleasant and nice. Overall good experience finally. 4.5 stars because how can they be out of lemon and raspberry!

Update 10/30/21

I gave snellville a 5th or 6th chance for redemption. I asked at the order window if there were hot donuts. I was told yes. I ordered 1 dz and said make sure they're hot. And then wanted to order another assorted dz. Nothing but glazed, lemon, a couple of the Halloween donuts. No creme, no chocolate glazed creme, no custard. I get to the window 15 minutes later. I was asked whati ordered. I told them. I get the dz assorted with "hot" which were 2 small glazed hard over-fried donuts stacked nc I asked them to fill in with glazed bc there were no other donuts to buy. The dozen I ordered "hot" were stone cold. I tried to give them back for hot donuts that I could see on the belt. I was told those were small donuts. Why on a Saturday night Halloween weekend at 745pm would the store be making small overcooked donuts? There should be a belt full of hot glazed donuts to sell. I paid$24 for stale cold 2 dozen donuts. I'm done with this snellville store. I'll drive 20 miles out of the way to pleasant Hill or buford drive to get hot donuts from kk if I even give kk a 5th or 6th chance . At least those owners seem to know how a store should be run. Snellville is not doing kk any favors.

9/2021 Over the summer went here 3 or 4 times only to be told at the window their card machine was down and they were cash only. Every single time. Called the last time before I drove there and the person on the phone was unaware the card machines were ever down and acted surprised. Another time I asked if there were hot donuts they said yes, I saw them coming off the line and was given stone cold ones. Let me start off by saying I used to work here so PLEASE read this if you’d like some more insight to this place. I worked here for a year and some months, so I have enough knowledge. We do not re-ice old donuts. That is not possible because of how the machine works. It is very slow usually because the managers put slow people at the drive thru (so sorry if you experience that). The reason we ignore people banging on the window is because either there is a clear sign that says drive thru only OR the managers told us to. The menu light stopped working at night years ago. No they never fixed it. We throw donuts in the trash because not all of them can be caught onto the trays. A lot of them are uncooked or some customer will complain endlessly about its shape. HONEYBEES ARE ILLEGAL TO KILL IN GEORGIA. During the summer the trashcans swarm with honeybees because they like the icing.They are harmless but often times yellow jackets come in too which is the real issue. Corporate needs to call someone out to safely remove the hive. They usually ignore our requests. I don’t know why it says 24 hours. We have never been 24 hours, come before 8pm and after 8am if you want a chance at good donuts. DECORATED DONUTS DO NOT COME WARM OR HOT. My daughter wanted to go to Krispy Kreme after her open house at her school. She had gotten a gift card for her birthday and wanted to use it towards her purchase, so we went to this location off of Scenic Hwy. We decided to go inside, since it wasn't busy at the time that we went. It was very clean inside. There were these little hats placed on the tables that had Krispy Kreme on them, and my son was excited to put the hat on. My daughter ordered a box of donuts, half glazed, half strawberry flavor with sprinkles on it. There was a tall, older gentleman who assisted us with the purchase, but I didn't get his name. He was very helpful in taking her order and helping her with hee order. The kids were fascinated with being able to watch the donuts being made and see them LIVE as they came down the production belt. To add to great customer service, the gentleman that assisted us with my daughter's order asked us if we wanted to try one of the donuts, and was nice enough to give us all a donut, HOT off the belt.🤗 He made sure we knew where the napkins were, placed my daughter's box of donuts in a bag, and was very courteous and hospitable. We appreciated the kind gesture and for providing great service. He encouraged the kids to do well in school and get all A's for the upcoming school year!
