Upon arriving around an hour before they closed we let the greeter know we had three in our party. The young lady’s appearance was sloppily put together and had a terrible body odor. We followed her to the table across extremely greasy floors in which my 11 yo daughter had a hard time walking without slipping. The lady threw our menus and silverware on the table and walked away leaving us standing there stunned at her lack of attention to us. My spouse and I looked at each other bewildered as we decided to sit down and not say anything about it. My daughter had to ask the waitress to wipe down her chair which was covered in crumbs. The waitress was an older lady around 70 and she was very nice. She paid attention to us and checked in with us often. The menu is updated and lacks any character. The old Cracker Barrel menu is no more. I am very disappointed in the lack of tradition in the menu. We were able to choose something from the terrible new menu and the waitress brought us bread right out after we ordered. We were disappointed that the cornbread was visibly burnt. My husband had to ask for more silverware because his knife had greens stuck to it. The woman brought back out the same silverware in a new brown paper sleeve. My husband notes the greens were gone but the mark where they once were was still there. My daughter found something black possibly mold in her mellow yellow in which we sent back and asked for a to go cup with no ice. When the food came out the side orders were not correct and the woman had to go back to the kitchen and correct the order. My side of dumplings was gross and had something that resembled curdled milk on the top. The food was gross to both my spouse and me, however, my daughter enjoyed her Cajun shrimp. The woman waitress brought our bill and we paid online. I cannot believe we paid $60 plus a tip for the nasty food. We finished and paid right at 9 pm closing time. As we were leaving my daughter wanted to buy a gift on our way out. I went out to the car parked by the door to grab her cell phone so she could pay for it herself and when I tried to come back inside to my daughter the greeter lady told me she would let me in this time but next time she won’t let me in because they were locking the front door at that time. I told her my daughter is inside and we just finished eating and wanted to purchase a gift really quickly. Side note: They couldn’t close up yet anyway because there was several table of guests still eating and one table hasn’t received their food yet. The greeter lady told me this time she will let me back in but never again. After the way she treated us from the beginning I found myself getting very angry. Especially since I had to get back inside to my daughter anyway who was obviously trying to purchase something. My spouse and I decided we will never again return to Cracker Barrel at this location. We will go to Long...

Okay this may gross you out but it’s true facts! I didn’t want to go to this place but I was out voted!!! It’s not all about you all the time....but sometimes you should follow your instincts and go along if you’re put voted but order down! Meaning order something least likely to be contaminated! Not certain what that is but here we go! Waitresses were extremely Pleasant!!!! Remember when your food comes out the Waitress was not the chef!!! We ordered, I ordered breakfast eggs cooked medium how hard is breakfast. I did not realize my friend had made a request for the manager!!! See we were sitting in a corner location and I for the first time did not check out the walls or the pictures....since she is from New York she was taking in everything literally!!!! She showed me SPITBALLS ON THE PICTURES I thought I was going to puke! The manager arrived and was shown (smh) the spitballs. Not happy he left and immediately returned to pick them off (dried) with his fingers!!! He didn’t get them all but my thoughts were that he should have just moved us and cleaned the area properly! Now I’m trying to not be difficult! Not be so picky so OCD! The food comes out! Eggs are runny (see pics) to bad I can’t do a smellavision because they smell like fish! The grits Ice Cold and have some type of Meat oil....eeek the cornbread was so hard the biscuits were not the best but now I’m starving! I’m eating my oldest granddaughters French fries! The biscuits and Now I’m reading reviews for this place and I stopped dead In My tracks! Not another bite or drink will I take. All sorts of bells were going off in my head....when my 8 year old granddaughter says Grandma there’s something in my potatoes!!!! The grandmother closer to her pulls out this green thing that looks like a bug! Once you looked at it you knew it wasn’t but you didn’t know what it was! The manager was okay with food cooked or not cooked correctly! He was okay with spitballs all over the wall! He was okay with foreign items being found in customers food! He was not shocked and didn’t care I’m sorry in an environment that serves food should really make people feel like you’re really remorseful! No such luck’ is just read in this locations reviews that bugs had been found in people’s food!!! When my daughter in-law says her food wasn’t good! We tipped extremely well but will never Ever Ever go there again! You...
Read moreI had lunch at the Snellville Cracker Barrel last Friday with a friend, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. When we were seated, the host only gave us one menu each—mine was the lunch menu, and my friend received the breakfast menu. We both wanted lunch, so that was the first small hiccup. Our server took our drink orders (we both had water), and when she returned, I asked about the lunch specials. She quickly pointed to the “Weekday Lunch Specials” section, which featured $5.99 options. We both ordered the meatloaf, which comes with mashed potatoes, a second side, and bread. The food came out promptly, and everything tasted fine. We asked for separate checks and didn’t notice anything wrong until we went to pay. Here’s where the real issue began. Despite ordering from the $5.99 weekday lunch menu, we were each charged $13.24. When I asked the cashier why, she seemed confused and started flipping through the menu to find an explanation. She had our tickets in front of her and could see what we had ordered—but instead of resolving the issue, she simply said, “You must have ordered something else,” even though we clearly hadn’t. With a line forming behind us and no solution in sight, we just paid the amount. Later, I did some digging and found that Cracker Barrel has three different prices for the exact same meatloaf meal: • Weekday Lunch Special: $5.99 • Early Dinner Special: $9.49 • Full Dinner Plate: $12.49 It’s clear we were charged for the dinner plate, even though we ordered the weekday lunch special. That’s mistake number one. Mistake number two was the cashier’s inability to identify or acknowledge the issue—even with our ticket in hand. In summary: We ordered the $5.99 lunch special but were charged for the $12.49 dinner plate. The cashier couldn’t explain the discrepancy and implied it was our mistake. I had to research their pricing afterward just to understand what happened. It’s disappointing when a place known for “Southern hospitality” makes a simple issue more frustrating than it...
