Pineapple Life — Local services in Snoqualmie

My review is not specific to classes or instructors. It is around updates to existing policies and how they are ineffectively communicated. Studio changed a policy that was very much a reason why being a member worked for me. There was no email, no update to their app (which is mainly how I utilize all things related to the studio) and they claimed it was on their social and that they do this every January (Implying that apparently I should’ve known even though I wasn’t a member last January). I then reviewed their social and saw nothing on Facebook, saw a random IG post on 1/3 that was related to the update, however not at all clear that is was calling out a policy update. When I reached out via email the tone was very SOL towards me, took zero ownership on their part and also felt almost retaliatory towards me when I stated it wouldn’t work for me and I’d be needing to cancel due to it. Very disappointed overall and will not feel comfortable returning due to the poor handling of the situation and the way I was treated and made to feel from it as well. So beware it’s good, until they do something that affects you and then it very abruptly changes.

The reply goes to validate what I shared. They tried to place the blame of their ineffective communication on the fact that I don’t receive their emails, which is actually linked to settings in the app, learned that through this process. I love Pineapple Life! I did the New Member trial in January and enjoyed the classes so much that I officially joined. I never considered myself a yoga gal because my close-minded self thought it didn’t feel like a workout. But boy was I wrong!!! I’ve taken both Hatha, Power Yoga, and Yoga Sculpt classes - and they kick my butt. I love the barre and Pilates classes too! I really enjoy all the knowledgeable & kind instructors, and appreciate the modifications. I have yet to try a few other classes, but I’ve heard great things. I also really like how many classes they offer per day! I can always find one that works for me. I look forward to taking more classes and getting stronger.

I want to add that I made management aware of a concern, and they addressed it with understanding, grace, compassion, and most importantly, action. This studio continues to amaze me!

What a great addition to our neighborhood! Beautiful from inside and out. The owner is a truly creative, carrying, kind and energizing person so is her whole team. The amount of variety of classes that is offered here is something else! Instructors are all amazing. Each of them brings something new and unique to their classes. The space that has been created for our enjoyment is beyond amazing. You see so much thought put in every detail: from the main salt room to the bathrooms. It’s very clean and you can tell they take pride in their place therefore keep it very organized and clean. They carry yoga clothes, mats, towels and everything else you need for your practice (and even fun stuff like make-up). Their app (Pineapple Life) is very easy to use for scheduling classes, booking workshops, sauna. It’s so helpful! The infrared saunas are amazing too.
