Following an invigorating hike at Snoqualmie Falls, I had the pleasure of discovering a Thai culinary gem conveniently situated just a brief 10-15-minute drive away. This hidden treasure, aptly named Thai Eatery, proved to be an exceptional culinary oasis. The culinary journey commenced with a burst of flavors, with the Tofu Manchurian emerging as the standout dish. Its exquisite taste remains etched in my memory, an enduring testament to the chef's skill. The allure of the Noodles only further intensified my culinary cravings. The establishment's ambiance exudes a sense of cleanliness and hospitality, reflecting their dedication to ensuring a comfortable dining experience. The staff's attentiveness and service were notably commendable, enhancing the overall dining satisfaction. I was particularly impressed with the swift service and minimal wait times, a rarity that certainly contributes to the establishment's appeal. The variety of vegetarian options showcased the restaurant's consideration for diverse dietary preferences, resonating well with my vegetarian palate. An added convenience is the availability of parking, making the visit all the more convenient. The serene atmosphere adds an extra layer of tranquility to the dining experience, allowing patrons to unwind in a peaceful setting. As someone who favors vegetarian choices, Thai Eatery has seamlessly etched itself as a top contender alongside my preferred Indian cuisine. This newfound culinary affinity speaks volumes about the quality and appeal of Thai Eatery. Without hesitation, I recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an exceptional Thai dining escapade, further solidifying its place as a dining destination that's bound to captivate and enthrall.

I've frequented this restaurant since it opened back in 2015. The lady boss is of Thai origin and the food is Authentic Thai. Over time, the cooking was handed off to hired chefs and after months of training, the food was acceptable once again. But since COVID hit, the takeout business was so good that wait time spiked to as long as an hour (even when the order taker said to come collect in 30mins). Probably due to peak hour traffic, the rushed cooking is also impacting the food quality (not all times but frequently enough)... food portion has become inconsistent, noodles are not evenly stir-fried, and Jasmine rice is sometimes too dry. All these are still acceptable because you can still taste the authentic Thai flavor. However, the meat quality has dropped drastically. Both the Beef and Chicken protein is quite hard to chew. Just recently, I only managed to chew up less than half of the beef from my Beef Pad See Ew. Quite disappointing. If you dine in, it will be obvious that all the staffs are super busy working hard to keep pace with the dine-in & takeout orders. I've supported this business for 7 years now. I sincerely hope things will improve to their former glory. Updated March 11, 2023 - Dinner today was great! Ordered the usual Tamarind fish and the new Pok Pok Noodles. Both were well-cooked and tasted good. They have added several new dishes, and prices were increased. Dinner traffic is still as busy but not at the expense of food quality today. Kudos for the great improvements!

We came in around 2:30pm on Sunday, no one in there. We weren’t greeted, but the guy just waved his hands where to sit. After a while, came over with water but all 4 of our cups were extremely dirty. I asked for new cups and he annoyingly took back our cups. The food came and the spice levels were way beyond what we asked for. All 4 dishes were spicier then other Thai places we went to. We had to ask for water 3 times ourselves because no one was coming up to us. Zero attention. The waiter had headphones in the whole time we were there. At the end, I needed to use the restroom and I went into one and it wouldn’t lock. There was a worker there so I asked her if it locks. She started yelling something at me, waving her arms around and trying to teach me to lock a door. Maybe it could have locked, but come on....why make it so hard. I then asked her if there’s another bathroom and she stated “I was going to use it but I guess you can use that one.” What?!? Well gee thanks.... Just an overall unpleasant experience. No one said have a good day or thank you. We obviously don’t expect to be greeted or anything, but hospitality is huge part of a place that you’re spending your money in. Definitely don’t recommend this place. Dirty, rude and unpleasant.

I was impressed with their menu and some authentic Thai dishes you wont find in most Americanized Thai restaurants. I got the spicy Coconut Noodle with prawn. I should not have ordered this, I wish I had got the green curry. The problem I had with the dish was I ordered 5 stars cause I wanted it spicy! It was not that spicy, in fact I thought the two star green papaya salad and my 5 star dish was not much different in spice, certainly not more than twice as spicy as it should havre been.. I THINK THEY DID NOT ACTUALLY PREPARE A REAL 5 STAR DISH. They warned me they would not take the food back if it was too spicy, but this just did not have the spiciness of an authentic spicy Thai dish. I was quite disappointed. It was more sweet than spicy... but all the other food I tried was great, I JUST WISH MY 5 STAR DISH WAS ACTUALLY MADE MORE SPICY! I feel like cause I'm white American they assumed I cant handle some authentically spicy Thai. Most Thai American restaurants do this, so I won't fault them too much. So I do look forward to trying them again and seeing if I can get some authentic spice next time!! I'll have to do more convincing that I want Authentic Thai level of spice. But really shouldn't that be a 5 star item!?! Why should I have to have a special talk with them to get...
