BEWARE, do NOT shop here and especially DO NOT bring your clothes to consign here!

They STOLE my clothes, just as they've done to many others. (Check yelp reviews! - wish I had done this first!)

I brought in four large bags of trendy name brand clothes and specifically asked them not to donate what they didn't take as I knew I could sell them on Poshmark or consign at other stores.

The lady working there told me that she would be done going through the bags by the following Tuesday and that I could come pick them up then. I let her I wouldn't be able to make it till Wednesday and she said that was fine.

On Wednesday afternoon I came to pick up the clothes, and after waiting five minutes while the same woman employee had a personal conversation with someone, she looked at me and said, "Yes? Can I help you?"

I let her know I was there to pick up my clothes/shoes/handbags, to which she very coldly said, "Oh they've all been donated. You were supposed to come yesterday, so we donated everything." and then she handed me a tax form.

I stood there in shock, as I was never told that my items would be donated if I wasn't there by Tuesday. Even when I mentioned I couldn't be there till Wednesday, she still didn't let me know that a risk of donation was possible.

When I looked down at my form in her hands to see where I had checked "do not donate," I saw she had written "donated, ha ha" with a smiley face. Very unprofessional.

I calmly asked why she had written that and pointed to the writing and she fumbled her words saying how those are just her own notes and then she shoved the paper away.

Another sweet customer came to my defense and the employee became even more rude and condescending, saying how they have policies and this is just how it goes....and on and on and on.

Not only are all my clothes gone, but there was no compassion or kindness from her on having made such a big mistake. Never once did she apologize, instead she was awful, snobby and incredibly condescending.

I have contacted the BBB and will be working with them on this issue, and my husband is also talking with an attorney as well, as it seems this is a trending experience at this business, and it's...

One of my favorite thrift stores in San Diego, they have such sweet workers and are so passionate about their store! They take such time to make it look amazing and keep everything organized. Since it is a consignment store and they are selective with the clothes they accept, everything is in amazing condition with tons of good brands. The deals are amazing!!! Everything I've ever bought from there has been 50%-75% off its original price while still in perfect condition. They have a great range of sizes, prices, and different items. I was so sad when they downsized a couple years ago, but they still manage to keep a great selection. Please go check...

Don’t go to this consignment shop. Owner makes all decisions and is not true to her word. I’ve had great experiences with other San Diego consignment shops and she’s the exception to the norm. Others are very professional, collaborative and friendly. She and I had a verbal agreement over riding the written agreement on a few items that she sold for 50% less than what we agreed upon. She reneged on keeping the verbally set price for 30 days. These weren’t high ticket items but it shows you the character of her...
