BEWARE! THE SALES STAFF AT THIS STORE IS RACIST! Here is why: I came in, took a basket and started shopping. Once I was done with my choices, I approached the cashier. One of the sales women (heavy build, short boy hair) asked me where I was from. I told her that I’m Russian who lives in LA. She then said: “We just had a bus full of Russian tourists, are you with them?”. I replied: “No, I’m not a tourist, I live in LA”. To which her answer was: “It doesn’t matter where you live, if you are not from this area, you are a tourist, you have to play by our rules, even if you are from the town 6 miles away - you are still a tourist”. I was so shocked that I didn’t reply. I was also surprised how terribly incorrect her definition of “tourist” was. Then she turned to another sales woman and said: “Haha, that was funny, not a tourist from LA”. At that point, I was so insulted that I just turned around, left my basket full of merchandise and left. And I just want to clarify that what I meant was that if I live in LA, I OBVIOUSLY didn’t come with the bus full of Russian tourists. They obviously don’t live in the US if they came in a tourist bus - they are Russian tourists who live in Russia! Unless there are tours out there that discriminate and accept only Russian Americans, which I’ve never heard of. So, her presumption that I came with Russian tour bus after I told her that I live in LA was very unintelligent, to say the list. Unless you are LOCAL white American, this store is not for you. In my 16 years of living in the US, I’ve never experienced anything like that. I really felt like I’ve been bullied by red necks. And, from now on, I’ll know that when I go from my house in Studio City to my work in Beverly Hills, I’m...
Read moreThis is a cute store with pretty Christmas decorations but with absolutely ZERO Christmas spirit. We visited on 2/21/2025. First of all there was no greeting or smiles. One of our kids accidentally knocked over a nutcracker and it broke a glass ornament. We instantly apologized and offered to pay for it. But one of the store clerk still YELLED at our kids. Then she actually went on and PHYSICALLY swatted my 2-year-old, who was just standing close to the ornaments and wasn’t even the one that broke the ornament. I was too shocked at the whole attitude I was lost for words. It’s almost as if she was possessed and had to come back for the 3rd time to yell at us some more, and at this point I told her she’s made herself plenty clear. It’s tragic that a year round Christmas store where you’d hope to share the Christmas spirit can be so rude and mean to children. What’s the point of Christmas decorations if not for our children? I really hope this post changes their attitude so future kids will not be scarred from their...
Read moreMy yraveling partner experienced HORRIBLE customer service here and then we both witnessed a second staffer being so blatantly rude and short with a handicapped customer as she brought out the small ramp for them to get their wheelchair up the single step. When the woman pushing the wheel chair obviousely felt she had to apologize for putting the sales woman out, she explained they'd come 'all this way, for THIS store inparticular" the sales woman replied, "Well, you probably should have called first". Holy hell, I've never witnessed such deplorable behavior😤🚫😳and based on that second situation, I will never go or recommend to anyone to go here. Just hideous treatment of customers and clear crossing of lines regarding ADA and the basic treatment of disabled customers....
