CVS — Local services in Somers Point

Took 5 hours to pick up an antibiotic. When I arrived they explained it wasn't ready and they were going on lunch. I called my husband to tell him. Funny how he immediately gets the text right after I leave to say it's ready. Hence I drive back around and pick it up. Wouldn't it make more professional sense if they say hey, can you go park your car and come on in by the time you come in?.... It'll be ready! I know you can see the order in the queue. Let's get your priority straight here. People. It wasn't a maintenance drug. It's an antibiotic that's needed for that day. My husband also has an autoimmune disease so he desperately needs an antibiotic ASAP. It's really sad how the compassion is so lost in the pharmacy anymore. There was a time when the pharmacist was so compassionate and friendly. You almost felt like you were part of her family. Don't not use this pharmacy! They are rude and inconsiderate! My roommate just had open heart surgery and came out of rehab. We went to pick up all his medicine from there. In that medication was insulin 2 kinds. Went got home to use it and they never gave us the needles! I was frantic. Thank God Tilton Road CVS was closer. I went in there they looked my roommate up in the computer and saw that I didn't get the needles also. Then they turn around and tell me "it looks like they were out!" YA THINK THEY WOULD TELL ME THAT! I now switched everything out of Sommers Point and they are going to the Tilton Road location. There they were so helpful and kind. Not to mention they...

THE STAFF IN THE STORE IS TOTALLY DEDICATED TO ASSISTING EVERY CUSTOMER, AND THEY WILL HELP EACH PERSON LOCATE ANY ITEMS! BESIDES THAT THEY WILL GO INTO THE STOCK AREA AND SEARCH FOR ANY PRODUCTS THAT HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED ON THEIR SELVES! THE PHARMACISTS AND THE TECHS WHO HANDLE THE DRIVE THUR AND THE CUSTOMERS PICKING UP THEIR SCRIPS ALWAYS HAVE A PLEASANT & FRIENDLY ATTITUDE AND IF THERE ARE ANYBODY QUESTIONS, THE PHARMACIST WILL EXPLAIN IN DETAIL ABOUT ALL SIDE EFFECTS!
