I am writing to formally express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the unprofessional and unacceptable experience my mother and I had with Dr. Greeneās office at the Somers Point location.
My mother had her first appointment with Dr. Greene, where he prescribed injections to help manage her pain. We were told that once the insurance approved the injections, we would receive a call to schedule them. After waiting two to three weeks with no response, I took the initiative to call the office myself. The person who answered assured me that everything was approved and ready to proceed, so we scheduled three different dates for the necessary injections.
When my mother arrived for the first appointment, she was informed that the injections were not approved yet and that she would need to reschedule. How does that even make sense? Why were we told the injections were ready when they clearly werenāt? This level of miscommunication is completely unacceptable.
After rescheduling, we received a text message confirming the date, time, and location of the next appointment. However, when we arrived at the Somers Point office, the secretary told us that Dr. Greene was not at that location that day due to "issues with the scheduling system" and that patients were being sent to the wrong location. Despite the error being entirely on their end, I suggested that we could drive to the Galloway office to avoid wasting the time off we had both taken from work. The secretary called the Galloway officeāat least thatās what she claimedāand told us that Dr. Greene refused to see us there. Why would the doctor refuse to see a patient when the mistake was caused by his own office?
When we finally met with Dr. Greene at the rescheduled appointment, we brought up this situation. To our disbelief, he claimed he knew nothing about it. So now I have to askāwas the secretary lying to us, or was the doctor? How can a medical office claim to care about its patients when either the staff is blatantly lying, or the doctor is completely out of touch with his own practice?
This level of incompetence and disrespect is beyond unprofessionalāitās offensive. We will never return to Dr. Greeneās office after this appalling experience. Patients deserve honesty, competence, and basic respect, none of which we...
