Wawa — Restaurant in Somers Point

Brittany has to be the rudest employee I have ever encountered at a wawa. I look forward to visiting this wawa every time I am in town, and this experience was terrible. She didn’t say hello and held no conversation, then when I said, I forgot my bag in the car she’s like you can purchase one for $.30 and leave it in your car in the most disrespectful tone. The lack of ability to have a conversation or understand someone’s frustration when they forgot their bag really set me off, and then we were trying to get our stuff. She just started staring at us angrily because the line was building behind us. Wasn’t looking for a free bag, was just looking smile and some understanding. Probably the best Wawa in the OC/Somers Point area. Large, newer Wawa with a very large parking lot, multiple entrances and exits, and a gas station. Whoever hires and trains the gas station attendants is doing a very good job. This crew is unfailingly polite and efficient - there is never a long wait. Inside the Wawa, associates are friendly and perform their job responsibilities effectively. If you enjoy the big Wawa salads where you select all the ingredients on the pin pad, this is the store for you! There was a food worker preparing food. I saw this lady take her hand with her gloves on and wiped her nose and continued preparing patrons food. I informed her supervisor of this. The supervisor spoke with her and asked that she wash her hands and put on new gloves. The food she was preparing had to be thrown away. The supervisor prepared my food. Kudos to her. Please be careful and go at your own risk. This worker was rude to me because she was being held accountable for her disgusting work ethic. I am sure this was not her 1st time doing this.
