Point Diner — Restaurant in Somers Point

This diner is horrible and I absolutely will never go here again. I'd recommend driving anywheres else. First I went to sit down and the booths are so horribly damaged that I almost cut myself but luckily I only got a scratch. The waitress was rude and unfriendly. I absolutely understand having a bad day but you can't let the effect your job. This was clearly not the case , it was definitely just her personality. When she first walked up to our table she said what drinks and nothing else. I asked and paid for a sprite but she would only give me water refills wasn't even worth complaining about from the looks of other reviews, they don't do anything to help complaints anyway. I asked for Italian dressing and they didn't have it. She forgot about my salad so she brought it out with my meal. Then when she gave us our check we got a pay at the front and as she walked away she mumbled to have a good day. While attempting to pay and waiting for ever for the cashier I was almost pushed out of way for a worker to grab menus off the counter with no excuse me. The workers clearly have no manners or respect for customers. Just how a smile can bring cheer to someone, attitude can do the complete opposite. This wasn't the start to my vacation I wanted. Never coming here...

I have been a regular customer for over 29 years. Some times 3 times for breakfast or dinner a week. The service is usually always good as well as their food. Tonight my son and I ordered the early bird special chicken Parm. which is my usual and was charge for the full menu price and without the dessert. As I said, been coming there forever and know menu by heart. Brought it to servers attention who repeatedly appologized then proceeded to speak with the manager who refused to adjust the bill. I went up to pay my bill and expressed my disappointment on how it was handled she responded with telling me it happenes all the time there is nothing she can do to adjust bill. At this point its principal. I made it clear that We will Never dine here again. This all over them getting their additional $6.00 for the meals. Its sad that customer service has failed. Obviously manager has no skin in the game and is not affected by loss revenue. I will be giving my business to Wind Jammer who offers a larger menu Great food and better atmosphere...

This place used to be so great, it is so sad that I came here with my family and found that they are NOT a good diner anymore. I was going to order the breakfast, as that is one of my favorites of theirs but I decided on their burger. Man! They are using the cheapest meat and the burger is as thin as a fast food place and they gave me about 12 fries, wow! It was horrible and we all left ours mostly uneaten. They are not putting money into this place at all. The seats are cracked or have zero cushion. Also, I used the ladies room and found that in their, supposed to be ADA compliant stall, they placed the toilet paper all the way on the opposite wall, pretty much out of reach. What a shame that this place is a bad shell of its previous greatness. It’s so sad. I won’t be coming back, it’s not worth the price for the cheap food and how unkempt...
