UPDATE 2-9-2021:So, a year ago, I posted the review (under this one). As it turn's out, my wonderful doctor, Dr. Zabinski was prepared to schedule me for knee replacement surgery. He told me a few years prior that my knees needed to be replaced but that I would make the call to let him know when it was time. Dr. Z. gave me another round of gel injections to my knees in the interim, as scheduling would put me about a month out until the surgery was done. Meanwhile, I started PT for my back, soon after my visit. Well, the combination of the gel shots and exercising three times a week at PT resulted, once again in alleviating my knee pain. It is now a year later still no surgery holding on great with the gel shots and exercise! I am postponing this surgery as long as possible to narrow the chance of having to have it done twice. (Replacements are not a once and done procedure). I LOVE Dr. Zabinski for going along with my decision and not pushing me to do the surgery yet. He is the perfect doctor for my needs and when the time comes, it will be Dr. Zabinski who performs the surgery I will ultimately need. I can't say enough good things about him!
2-2020 It's quite upsetting to see the negative reviews of Dr. Zabinski because I find him to be the consummate professional in Orthopedics. He has treated my knee pain the past few years, conservatively yet he informed me from the beginning that bilateral knee replacements were in my future. Now it is time to have my left knee replaced and I couldn't feel more confident in having Dr. Zabinski perform my surgery. He is knowledgeable, professional, caring, encouraging and has always taken the time to answer my questions. I'm happy to see the positive reviews of Dr. Zabinski, knowing that others feel the same as I...
Read moreI went to see Dr. Zabinski in 2007 for a shoulder problem. He originally diagnosed it as a tear in the rotator cuff caused by a bone spur. He first treated me conservatively, with cortisone injections and physical therapy. When that failed, he scheduled surgery to remove the bone spur and repair the tear in the rotator cuff. I get through surgery and PT, and years later, I'm still having the same pain that I was having before I ever stepped foot in his office.
I finally got a second opinion on the shoulder. The second doctor took x-rays in office, and told me that not only do I have a calcium deposit entangled in my rotator cuff, but there's no evidence of a rotator cuff repair ever being done. My rotator cuff is "clean," meaning that there was never any injury to it to begin with.
Dr. Zabinski not only misdiagnosed me, but put me through unnecessary surgery on my dominant shoulder. He has a horrific bedside manner, as others have reported, and I know of at least three other people that had botched surgeries from him. How he's able to continue to practice medicine...
Read moreI am definitely giving Doctor Zabinski a five star rating. If I could give him more stars I would. He is an amazing doctor!! I am a personal trainer and depend on my health for my job. I was devastated to find out that I needed a total right hip replacement. He reassured me that I would be back to work in time and feeling great. 11 days later I was back in the gym. I had to take it slow but after a few weeks I was back to my old self. I cannot thank Doctor Zabinski and his staff enough for taking such excellent care of me. I would highly...
